    The first group able to win it had a specific party yes, there's no doubt in my mind that as time goes that it will get easier.

    Maybe it's just me but for the only boss in the game that drops Eternal (Orange) items, the boss should be hard as fuck. Considering what you have to do to get 20k points in Dark Poeta in 2 hours anyway, I don't see the problem. This is just from my experience however.

    Yeah like I said, I am sure the community would come up with some strategy no matter the difficulty of the boss.

    Realistically, though, do you think DP and its items will be a potential pinnacle forever? If I had a choice between hard monotony and easy monotony, I guess I'd take the latter. Part of the challenge is still against the random number generator, unfortunately. If they turned it around and made a kill on X guaranteed a reward of Y from Z quest, then maybe there'd be a bit more ground to stand on for hard content. How long until we see 0/200+ for someone looking for something specific? I know I'd hate to be that guy and I even try to avoid those scenarios if I can.

    Forever no? Any kind of game with any kind of end-game progression will not sit on the same gear as the "best" gear for the longest time, this isn't FFXI. Even so, the point is that there are plenty of weapons in the game that are extremely powerful and great to have, but there is only one weapon of each type that is Eternal.

    They are as hard as they are to get because no other spellcasting weapon has attack speed and casting speed on it, Assassins with Orange weapons don't even have to socket crit anymore, the weapons are the best of the best and they will be for a very long time, until they introduce easier bosses that drop them, or boost the level cap, and that in itself will make these easier to obtain.

    My only thing is that these weapons are so fucking hard to get because they are borderline (if not) broken, so the work you have to do to get access to them should be as well. It just happens that RNG is a part of that, but the drop rate in Dark Poeta is a lot better than any other instance I've been in, so I'm definitely not complaining.

    I just wish MMOs these days would allow you to get the items you earn cause of your skill, instead of nerfing everything into the ground to give everyone wants the shinies but doesn't want to put the time and effort into getting them.

    Is this the part where we pretend we've all run Dark Poeta, gotten S rank, and killed the boss pre- and post-patch?

    I doubt this adjustment will come down to anything but a slightly wider margin of error, so that maybe the classes who aren't in the koreans' strategy's group can get some loot, and NAs can get his gear before the cap is raised to 55 and it's useless.

    10. The stats of monsters in the Abyss Fortresses have been adjusted.

    - Monsters’ maximum HP has been increased, but Physical Defense has been increased.

    1. New repeat quests have been added to supplement the difficulty of ‘Craft Skills Test’ [Elyos] and ‘Proving the Proficiency of Crafting Skill’ [Asmodians] quests of Level 50 Daevanion quests.
    - You can obtain ‘Boiling Balaur Blood Stain’ as reward from the new repeat quests, which are the craft material items required to complete the Daevanion quest.
    - Elyos can obtain the new repeat quests in Sanctum, and Asmodians can get theirs in Pandaemonium.

    This has got to be a joke right, 5 hot heart of magics for 100 Boiling Balaur Blood, so i have to use 600 Blood, 60 Hearts, 6 of each expert premium flux and 6 premium Aether, for 100 more boilingg blood so after wasting a possible 40M or more i think they could offer you a bit more then 100 more blood. I'd rather them not add the quest then offer this crap after failing 5 times

    Same, but not by making something just stupidly hard, where 1 fuck up equates to you dying and losing a chance or some such bullshit. I'd like to see where thinking actually plays a role in bosses, and even if a boss doesnt drop the item you want, you can have a repeat quest for that boss rewarding the item as well. So if you kill the boss 50x and he never drops your item...you still get it in the end.

    There is a difference in skill between bad and good players, linkshells, guilds, legions, alliances, or whatever and it's large in many cases. Skill affects both PvP and PvE. Anyone that knows how to play a game well, should easily be able to differentiate a skilled player from a random moron.

    The difference is there, although you may not be able to see it.

    Servers crashed and my client can't update the game, I am assuming it's launching now?

    Edit: N/M guess it was only temporary, but my client did try to download a patch, saying that it couldn't connect so maybe it's a sign?
