i think i asked once before but you boys know what fantasy resonates with me, where would ya recommend starting with Sando? only thing i read by him was The Emperor's Soul because it is his only Hugo, was p decent.

I'd start with Mistborn, if that doesn't work for you I doubt any of his other stuff will either. It also has by far the smallest amount of the Cosmere stuff in it, so you aren't getting random shit that you don't know anything about popping up in the middle of it like some of his other stuff.

I'm on book 3 of Stromlight. Mistborn is a good one to jump in with. The different series tend to take place on different worlds, but within the same universe. Apparently there's some crossover bits that start popping up, but I've only ran into a couple so far, at least that I've recognized.
Reading order is kind of up to preference, but I've used these sources to kind of guide me (skipping a couple things here and there like the graphic novels):

But I will be writing the Mistborn screenplay myself over the next 5 months, as my full time work. Goal is for a theatrical Mistborn, then Stormlight show after. Focus on doing it carefully and right.

I promise not to get too distracted to do books. However, if I want this done right, I need to give some real attention and heart to it now.

Unsure if that means the trilogy or the first movie. Probably first movie. In a previous post on reddit he speculated that Hollywood won't push Stormlight back but may affect books like Elantris and Warbreaker sequels

I didn't watch it but he was on a panel or something recently with some people behind Arcane, and that kind of animation would be fantastic

Finished Batman Resurrection. Takes place between 1989 Batman and Batman Returns. I’ll read its follow up Revolution later, but for now I guess either read the new Dresden Files, the last Sun Eater book, or one of the new Sanderson books.

Don't quote me on this, but I'm pretty sure Kobo to Kindle is much easier than the other way around because they are EPUB. The only difficult part is getting around the DRM.

Still mad at Gawyn's regression after it seemed like he had finally figured out what to do. He risked sending Egwene into a spiral in the middle of the Last Battle. Girl too stronk though

Maybe because I took so long to read the books, but I totally missed the setup for who Slayer really was. Had to do some digging after finishing to realize he is both Isam Mandragoran and Luc Mantear. Those names from books 1 and 2 didn't mean much to my by the time I was at book 13 lol.

I knew Rand would find a way to live after how telegraphed it was that he would die, but was not expecting a body swap with Moridin. It's a nice ending for him to be free of the Dragon Reborn mantle. Although I feel like it'll be weird for any of the girls to be with Rand in a Forsaken's body :O Also seems like despite not being able to channel he can now control things in the pattern?

The death toll in the book was wild. Wasn't expecting Siuan's sudden death. But it lines up neatly with the story of her gambler uncle she told Mat who would keep running into the fire to save people. Was sad to have Gareth Bryne offscreened after that but it was inevitable.

I think I am gonna find a way to read the 2 short stories that were cut from the final book. After that I am thinking of doing a reread of all of LOTR, including the Silmarillion which I've never read
