Sadly no, not even a release date set yet.

finishing Deadhouse Gates, liking it a lot more than the first one, although perhaps the first had too much intrigue and not enough happening
I got kinda bored of the Wickan survivability but then I'm always more interested in awesome magic rather than guts and blood fighting unless there's clever tactics etc
The first certainly set the scene, perhaps I just like the 2nd one better because I actually grasp who everyone is right away and understand warrens and the dragon deck etc
It was the same with me, being thrown all these strange names and terms in the first book made it a bit difficult.
lol then don't read an Umberto Eco book because you don't get later books to explain them*
*except in the case you've a history degree or two.
I finished Elizabeth Moon's Vatta's War series, which imo sets up a universe that could do with some more stories. Wanted more of the same, so I'm trying her Familias Regnant/Serrano series, which seems to fit the bill. I have a vague sense of recognition sometimes as I'm going through the books- the characters seem so familiar. So I'm wondering if maybe I read one of them as a teen and forgot about it, or if it's just the similarity to Vatta, or if maybe Moon's style is just similar enough to some of my other favorites (Cherryh and Weber come to mind) that I'm blurring a bit around the edges. Anyway, I'm having a lot of fun with the Serrano books. I hope Cherryh's publisher works on getting more of her older books on Kindle, though, as I've been wanting to move into the Alliance/Union universe for a while.
If you're reading Moon's books you know that the characters will survive whatever horror they are going through. She very predictable like that. I brought the Serrano series with me on holiday a few years back and finished all the omnibuses in a few days. Pretty easy read.
Waiting for more Cherryh here as well.
Finished the first omnibus. Series is definitely fun. After going through asoiaf again, I could use a little Immortal Hero, so I don't mind that.
Jesus christ. Well into the Suiza books. Serrano Connection Omnibus, I think. fucking.... as you say, I know the main characters are going to survive, but god damn. Some of this shit.... brutal.
Spoiler: show
Maybe asoiaf wasn't so bad.
Just finished this:
Great fucking read. Very, very good follow up to The Shining. Sometimes, I have issues with his endings as they tend to mostly go off the deep end, but I really had no complaints about this book, other than I wish it was a little longer.
It's not really a horror story like The Shining was. Also; Kubrick movie is a bag of dicks. Made for TV version is far superior, minus the wheezy kid that plays Danny.
just finished Betrayer by aaron dembski-bowden. 40k people/heresy watchers, this is a must-read. i really do wish they'd have left the entire series to people like abnett and ADB that can actually, you know, write, instead of the uneven mess we have now. there's going to be like 40 books and some of them are a real chore to get through.
then there are blood-soaked gems like Betrayer.
Question about the Stephen King book. Does he tie the sequel into his whole Dark Tower mythos? I remember loving the Talisman, but hated the sequel since it seemed to tie too heavily into his Dark Tower stuff.
Read Heroes Die (Acts of Caine #1) and it was freaking amazing; highly recommend for those with an appetite for Joe Abercrombie-esque violence / intrigue.
Going off of that, Insomnia was pretty nutty considering (DT and Insomnia spoilers)because Insomnia was written 10 years and 3 DT books before DTVII. Even if you're not a fan of the DT series or King's work, it is kind of impressive sometimes how he has fit something from the DT series into so many other books, yet keeping them fairly good standalone novels.Spoiler: show
I was a little let down by Warbreaker. Though that's probably just because of how good Mistborn and Elantris are by comparison. I just didn't really like any of the characters.
Most interesting thing about the book to me was Nightblood.

I'm not sure how many fans of short story horror and dark fantasy exist on BG, but this collection is really great. I enjoyed every damn story in it. Highly recommend it.
Always down for another Vandermeer story! Thanks for posting that.
Gentleman Bastard series by Scott Lynch. His 3rd book is out after a six year hiatus. Top five series of all time for me.
