I've played with Eanae before. He's more of a talk-in-game and quieter person. I like talking on ventrilo and stuff. So unless your guild does that... I still have a level 11 on Triniel, but I'm also level 15 on Vaizel. I don't know which server I'll be playing on indefinitely.

Get rid of the FFXIV section then. FFXIV section could be two threads: Elmer's news thread and Retard Baby-Sitting Speculation Job System etc etc thread. (Though that would be quite minimal when remembering the board will sometimes see more activity than all other Gaming boards combined.)

That said, it isn't more ridiculous than an advanced section of a 4-page long subforum. FFXIV is more useful by default because at least it can't fail at being "standard."

You are deluded or intoxicated if you think having an "advanced" section does shit for your Aion discussion. Like it is a magic place where the retards of Blue Gartr forums are suddenly going to become a bunch of Rukeshins and Kaekos. Something they couldn't do anywhere else! Oh no! I mean what if all that information got lost on the ever-so-distant page 4. This segregation didn't even work out for FFXI.

It is a huge joke, but one backed by the moderation. So all I can do is just laugh. It might be a good joke though. So maybe I'll look through that forum and find things to laugh at.


EDIT: Additionally, I wonder what the top Aion site is. Blue Gartr will probably be a poor imitation of it(like Allakhazam's "Endgame" forum.) The only reason Blue Gartr was so ADVANCED had a lot to do with it being the best FFXI website, where the best players gathered. If Blue Gartr isn't the best Aion site then it has no hope and it certainly doesn't need to patronize its few members.

First of all, I have no say what goes on with the making of the boards on BG. Don't tell me to get rid of the FFXIV section because I can't do anything about that.

The only other resources available to Aion is a single site by the name of Aionsource. This would be the equivalent of allakhazam, because its nothing but people complaining about the game or generally being idiots in 90% of the posts. They have an auto-filter on bad words (turns every fuck into nyerk etc) and they close any thread that turns into flaming or arguments. But because its been around for a long time, there is good info mixed in with the shit. I know that BG is not a large Aion resource as it is right now, but actually I get way more reliable information from here than I ever would from Aionsource and I don't have to go far to find it. I have had several ex-FFXI people that know about BG say to me that they hope to see BG turn into what it was for FFXI.

I really don't see the problem with providing the opportunity for this place to turn in to something great and I can't understand why it bothers other people that a section like that was made. As with the FFXIV, I think its worthless but I don't go around posting on BG about how much I think it sucks. I just ignore it. I don't need to click on it but I am sorry if you feel the need to read every single section of BG, even a place that is about a game you don't care about. Earth spirit is OP as fuck. I can stick Erosion II and Fire Energy I on a mob 2 levels higher than me, walk away and mine/kill another mob at the same time, and finish killing that mob right as he's done with the one I originally started on. All without my pet getting to 3/4*

altho im not really spam, i do care about aion, and i still think an advanced forum is unecessary atm. there is like 2 people who post who are Lv50. and only 1 thread in there is what i would consider advanced, if that. and most of the information was actually gotten from aionsource.

the enmity thread is a joke, i could post a load of shit in there, as i have done. and nobody can disprove me since the whole game is still in speculation.

the traffic going through the general aion forum is more than i expected tbh, but the advanced forum is just a waste of space. wait for people to get whole legions to 50, explore the content more indepth, then if the general forum get cluttered with threads that actually go over tactics, math, etc in more detail then maybe there would be a use for an advanced. as it stands, i still think your trying too hard to make it into something that its not atm.

I know a lot of people would beg to differ, and although I use BG as an example, I am only using it as a comparison of what I would like BG to be for Aion. In my eyes, BG was the most reliable source of information and people came here for that. I am not going to follow step by step what happened with FFXI.

Your opinion yet again. Do you somehow know some magical formula that you know for a fact that this is how to run a forum? The people who currently browse it are content with it, and I'm not going to enforce some rules that are not needed in a section. I don't agree adding rules to a section of a forum and only enforcing them on certain threads. That just breeds confusion between the people who browse it, and GASP, mods being able to work around the rules. Where have I seen people bitching about that before?
