I was actually talking about the hardasses who pulled out guns. And, after pulling out guns, acted like pussies when the people they were talking shit to started firing back.

Those opposed to concealed carry often make no distinction between "bars" (places where the consumption of alcohol is the primary activity) and "restaurants with a liquor license." Some states however, make this important distinction. For example, in Texas, you may not carry in any establishment which generates 51% or more of its revenue from the sale of alcohol for on-premises consumption. Another example is Florida, where you can carry in a restaurant that serves alcohol, just not in the bar section, or Virginia, which prohibits concealed-carry in businesses with a liquor license, but "open-carry" is allowed.

In order to be eliglible for a CCW permit in Ohio you need a certification of competency with a firearm from an accredited course. Doesn't matter really, you still can't carry in a bar.

Well iirc only a handful of CCW have ever been issued in hawaii in the past 30+ years. The only 2 that I know of are for the Police Armorer, and another was issued to the Chief of Police's sister, but it was revoked later on. The Armorer could very well be the only person with a CCW. Cant CC in the first place, so they don't need an extra law about where you can't carry the gun you can't carry in the first place lmao

I have never, and I truthfully mean never, understood what on earth would possess anyone to feel as if they needed a CCW permit.

Keep a reasonably-sized gun in your house to protect yourself and your family in your home? Sure.

Keep rifles for hunting? Of course.

Where is the disconnect between understanding a need for a weapon in the home but not two steps outside your home? Anything that could happen to you at your house could happen outside of your house.
