Your favorite Concerts/Shows you've been to.

In a top 5 rank it would have to go:

1: Slipknot (best live show ever, incredible)
2: Blink 182 (the most fun I've ever had)
3: Iron Maiden (all 14 times I've seen them they've been amazing)
4: I Set My Friend On Fire
5: Dragonforce (small venue, great sound, even better guitar playing)

I've only been to a couple concerts, which is sad I know, but saw Shinedown which was awesome, and Gogol Bordello which was crazy.

    Some of my favorites:

Daft Punk (2006 Alive Tour @ Coachella)
    Justice
    Mastodon (Backstage at Coachella '09)
    Band of Horses
    Pinback

I soo wanna see Daft Punk live, but they've never been to Finland Maybe some day...

Listing the concerts in order would be difficult so here's my five in random, chronological order:

    AC/DC (2009)
    Lynyrd Skynyrd (2009)
    Santana (2008 )
    Nick Cave (2006)
    Depeche Mode (2006)

Depeche Mode was the first band I saw live in 2006, but I've been to maaany concerts after that so it's kinda hard to remember them all. Other live shows I enjoyed very much were Kraftverk (2009), The Rolling Stones (2007), The Roots (2007) and Jethro Tull (2007). I think that covers most of the best ones. Looking forward to seeing Depeche Mode again when they're coming to Finland again next february.

Edit: Hmm. Appearantly we weren't limited to five concerts, buut I listed the best ones anyway so no matter.

Trans-Siberian Orchestra in the Frank Erwin center. 3 and half hours of excellent orchestra and metal.

Two favorite shows I've been to would be Agalloch and Akercocke. Both in Phoenix, AZ.

    Trans-Siberian Orchestra.

If you have never been to one of their shows try and go to one sometime.

You have such awful music taste. Other than Blink 182, the only half-decent band on there, just ugh.

    Try this:
    1. Alkaline Trio / Gaslight Anthem / Thrice / Rise Against (Cleveland, October 2008 )
    2. Alkaline Trio / Bayside (Pittsburgh, June 2008 )
    3. Alkaline Trio / Saves the Day (Pittsburgh, April 2009)
    4. Gaslight Anthem (Pittsburgh, September 2009)
    5. Gaslight Anthem (Pittsburgh, March 2009)

Honorable mention (in no particular order):
    1. Coheed and Cambria / Dredg / Mewithoutyou / Blood Brothers (Pittsburgh, April 2005)
    2. Warped Tour (Take your pick)
    3. All Time Low / The Maine / Every Avenue / Mayday Parade (Pittsburgh, October 2008 )
    4. The Loved Ones (Take your pick)

No one does a show like Alk3 or Gaslight Anthem and nothing can ever come close to those two having a show together.

    what a nice thread

Coheed and Cambria (The Neverender tour, all four nights, in NYC)
Explosions in the Sky (in Chicago, holy fucking shit they absolutely own live.)
Brand New (in Indianapolis, I only put this here because this show introduced me to another amazing band The Builders and the Butchers)

From this weekend's Voodoo my order would be:
    1) Justice (Blew me away)
    2) Kiss
    3) Lenny Kravitz
    4) Mutemath
    5) Wolfmother

    All time:
    1) The Mars Votla (Been to 4 shows, the best was for Deloused)
    2) Justice
    3) Red Hot Chilipeppers
    4) Girltalk
    5) Wyclef Jean

I really enjoy anything with a lot energy and life. I'm seeing Deadmau5 next week so I'm hoping he takes a spot on the top. ;o

Off the top of my head, lets see...

Any of the nearly dozen odd times I've seen Morbid Angel, one of the most amazing and consistent bands out there.

    NiN/David Bowie in '96ish

Both times I've seen Ween, '07 in Boston and then again this past July in Providence

    Mayhem, 2000

Mogwai in Asheville, NC earlier this year

Iron Maiden, forget what year that was, 2003 maybe?

I would love to see Brand New but they always cost too much and sell out practically immediately. Not to mention they skip my town every other tour.

I'm not even sure if we did, but there were a fuck ton running around. There were some chicks running around as naked zombies and it was great.
