Cannibal Corpse/Dimmu Borgir/Lamb of God/another band. Was around the time New American Gospel came out, so like 2000ish.

Reel Big Fish wasn't too bad, they all seemed tired though.

Mighty Mighty Bosstones/Pietasters. I think the Pietasters were better.

    In Flames

    UB40 was the shit.

Streetlight Manifesto/Reel Big Fish/Less Than Jake at the Norva (VA) last year. They were all pumped up and put on a great show.

Rancid before their latest (and worst) album at the House Of Blues (Myrtle Beach SC). They played a ton of Operation Ivy and "Lets Go"/"Out Come the Wolves" tracks.

Tom Petty back in (1996/1997?), it was an outdoor venue, pouring rain, everyone was making forms of shelter out of picnic tables and umbrellas. We were mud sliding down a huge hill and he just kept playing until the city shut him down. (Lame noise curfew)

Front row/center to a Skillet/Seether/Three Days Grace/Breaking Benjamin show a couple years ago. I had never listened to any of their music and it was a hell of an experience, especially since I'm a huge Nirvana fan and Seether played a few covers.

I've seen so many concerts in the last 5 years...it's not even funny. But off the top of my head my favorite shows of all time would probably be:

    1. Stone Sour on their Come What(ever) May club tour in 2007, I believe. Was a small venue (1,200 people, sold out) and had great sound, plus I got to meet up with the band after the show and got my self-titled album signed.

    2. Killswitch Engage with All That Remains in the same club this year, around 1,000 people or so. Not much to add, great show, awesome jokes from Adam and a pretty solid crowd.

    3. The first (out of two) times I've seen Slipknot, was at a 3-day metal festival in Belgium called Graspop. Since they're the band that got me into metal it was something very special for me. The show was good and I almost fainted at the end, can't say much more than that.

    4. Trivium with Black Stone Cherry at the same small venue this year, also around 1,000 people...I was really surprised how good they were live, after seeing some disastrous live footage from their last tour (the one promoting The Crusade).

    5. Last but definetely not least: Lamb of God this year also at the same venue. One of the most energetic performances I've seen in these 5 years of going to shows...only downside was that the venue was barely half sold-out.

I'm pretty sure that there were some amazing shows but these 5 are either the most recent ones that surprised me or the ones that are stuck there forever. I should make a list of all the shows sometime...haha.

And I could say I think you have awful taste in music. How's that? I didn't ask for youe opinions on what kind of music I like, nor did I make this thread for such criticism. Go be butthurt that I like the Rangers in the NHL thread.

Pearl Jam, NIN, The Tea Party, and U2 always put on good shows. Sigur Ros puts on a sweet show too.

Never go see a Coldplay or Tool concert, terrible (ironically A Perfect Circle is good though).

Also, it's already assumed that the best show is Gwar, and we're just discussing the best behind them, right?
