Distant Worlds 12/12/09, Chicago- FFXIV music preview.

Distant Worlds was also in Chicago in March 2008, but no Mages. This time isn't really the Black Mages, either. It's Uematsu and the Chicago Mages. Still will be awesome though.


Memoro de la Stono ~ Distant Worlds, Suteki Da Ne, and Kiss Me Goodbye are already covered, so potentially one FFXIV song.

If she actually ends up singing one of the FFXIV songs there, the actual gameplay version will pale by comparision.

I've got meet and greet, this concert is going to be awesome. I hear Susan Calloway is going to be singing 4 songs which is <3, which probably two of will be FFXIV related.

She was at the Detroit show and it made it that much more awesome.

Paid about 65$ per ticket for my seats, I'm in the little rectangle section 109 behind that bigger 109 on the floor.

Yeah, I went to both the Grand Rapids and Detroit shows so I know how awesome she is live. There's good audio of her recorded for Kiss Me Goodbye on youtube, ran into it the other day. I can't link it though at work. I also upped the video for the last 5 minutes of Distant Worlds with her from Detroit, search for videos by Krazach. The audio isn't the best when it gets loud because I recorded it with a regular still camera.

As for the Chicago concert I'm in 104 so this should be badass.

when I was getting my tickets pretty much everything from 109 rear section and forward was spoken for, some of the rear sections were still good, anything in the front row of the balcony was gone as well... and that was about a week or 2 ago?

I live 10-15min away from the theater no hotel for me, there's like 2-3 hotels right by the whole Rosemont convention center/theater if you haven't been there before.
