Concert was amazing, I went with kashi and some other friends. Met silenka and tythera while there. It's kind of weird that I got here essentially on a whim but it was worth it, I geeked the FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK out to OWA

The concert was amazing. Ryko was in town so he went with my gf and I, and I saw my brother, his bf, and my good friend as well. I got REALLY lucky with my seating (bought my ticket the day before and got dead center/1st floor ticket, it was pretty sweet). The ronfaure medley was really good, but Dont Be Afraid was my favorite. All in all, pretty awesome show :D. Lol @ Nobuo playing air guitar during the encore performance, lol.

All in all, the concert was pretty sweet. Playing OWA twice was lame though, especially after saying you were "ending the performance" before, with Terra's theme.

If I were omniscient and would change any of the line-up, I'd nick Aeris' Theme and Don't Be Afraid, and added in something from FFV. Either Clash on the Big Bridge or The New Origin. Also, IX needed some more love. Darkness of Eternity would've been sweet.

The only problem is that those haven't been arranged for an orchestral performance. That's why there was such a big deal made over Dancing Mad and J.E.N.O.V.A. They can't just up and play pieces on a whim. It take a lot of work to take a piece of 8-32 bit synthesized video game music and write it for performance by a full orchestra and choir.

Song was pretty good even if it was trailer music.

Main thing on my mind music wise is "What will the battle music sound like?", since it's always the battle music that seems to draw me into FFs even after I beat them.

I heard that they announced some upcoming dates that are not posted on the website. Did anyone catch the cities they are going too?
