only scary part was when

all the electrical stuff would randomly come alive inside the truck stop, people getting chopped and attacked by electric bread knives etc. Guaranteed I'd laugh to see the movie now but it did the job at whatever age I watched it in the 80s. Even then though, I couldn't find a truck scary.

Best part of that movie is the Coke vending machine.

At least I think it was a coke machine that went haywire. It's been -forever- since I watched that movie.
