What is the maximum amount you've ever seen Tiamat Crit for? Divide that by about 3 to get an estimation of his base damage. I'd bet you it's over 200. So VIT-5 (Base damage+1) is less than a .5% increase. Meanwhile, PDT-2% for someone starting from PDT-31% (Terra's, Umbra, Jelly) is almost a 3% decrease in damage taken.
You need to consider VIT when you're fighting something like a Monk-type monster. Otherwise it probably won't matter as much as the PDT will.
