Someone mentioned the ASA pants with 3haste and 8movement speed.

I did that too, I use them for running and also macro it in for utsusemi or other spellcasting on PLD. The movement speed is pretty helpful in Nyzul I think.

Shinimusha Haidate for polearm (5hit) or blitzer poleyn for gk... I don't have Byakko's Haidate yet, as I stated before I have no sky shell. I meant I made those pants with haste and movement with the intent of using it as a casting macro / running piece. But the extra haste has made a difference in merit parties on my tp set as I've seen.

There's nothing wrong in what he said about Nyzul. It's a timed event which requires getting from A to B, sometimes without any or much fighting; +movement helps in such a situation. And considering that sam gets no other +movement options really, I can't hold it against anyone who makes such a piece.

For pld I don't really have a specific leg tp piece yet, I used to just leave on my valor leggings (which are now just part of my hate set for flash/voke/etc.) but now just leave the asa legs on. I want askar or aurum legs actually, killed Gotoh Zha 3x and got outlotted twice and no drop the third time. Also have done NUMEROUS Floor 40s with my armband solo lotting askar, and not a goddamn thing has dropped.

Same here, been working on Haidate for a while and still don't have them. Tried a sky shell, didn't work (bad timing, huge line, some policies that I didn't agree with). Trying lowman atm, I have a couple of pop items and we'll kill the NM. If it doesn't drop, will try again once or twice, but there's a limit to how many times I'm going to drag friends up to Byakko or Ulli camp just for an item for yours truly.

3% haste plus 2% DA on the pants is pretty nice for a free item. For a secondary job I only ever solo on (BST), it will probably do if the Haidate project doesn't work out.

You can get +4 stat on feet, and you can probably get +2 MAB on all visible slots. Actually, Ring is the only slot I've seen capped below +2 MAB at 75. You can get two different augments on a piece, and I see nothing to indicate there's some kind of value-max for this system. So you can get the max for both of the two augments you get, so it's theoretically possible to get INT+4, MAB+2 on a 71-75 piece as long as it doesn't make the piece exceed 4 INT/2 MAB.

Head/Hands/Feet are pretty low sample size slots, so there haven't been any posts of MAB+2 in them. Heck, there haven't been any points of MAB at all in the feet, but it seems likely. I still intend to make a post detailing augment mechanisms, but I'm getting a little pulled down by work.

AMII + Tier 4 x2 > Tier 4 x3 + Tier III depending on the spells in question, if you can 3 shot with first option, it's better MP use
