I also see a lot of screens where the chat boxes and menus etc. have the red line around them. Do you have to have FFassist for that or is there a dat I can insert? For some reason I seem to remember FFassist being mentioned.

Its a program called snipping tool. comes with vista.

He has Mandau and Varja also. Old time Cerberus THF. Was first on server with Mandau. Just bought the ridill, which normally I'd laugh at, but it's not like he really has anything else to spend it on. The Machisimo is nuts though, he doesn't even have a need for X's now. And not to mention he still has a 3rd slot he can etch.

We have the exact same dagger on Siren, except its +20 attack, not +16. I'm wondering whether it would make for a good offhand dagger with Mandau. It looks snazzy

I'm guessing the Dagger WS bonuses only apply if it's mainhanded? Kinda hard to have that tested at this point I guess.

would depend on the testing. But if it applies off-hand like X's or Blau then it would be by far the best possible Off-hand.
