There's a lot of "what if's" and adding a way for non-locals to register for accounts would take them a day or two at most to start supporting.

That picture kinda makes me scared of the "westernization" and censoring they are doing. Elin's I was fine with just because I could see how that'd come down in mainstream media here in the states, but if they are going to censor everything I won't even bother playing.

Offtopic: I wish Nexon would decide whether or not Vindictus is going to be a mature game, or suitable for everyone. Mabinogi Heroes has all kinds of cool clothing options, and we aren't really getting many of them. They aren't censoring anything but Elin, and even Elin is only the pants on a "few" armor sets. They came out and said nothing else about the game will be touched. Who cares about cover art, ESRB is a lot more sensitive about cover art since a lot wider audience, then those who plan to purchase the game, will see it

They showed server invasions a while ago, when they introduced that the lords will be able to change guard positioning, but it's -amazing- we're getting fucking slammed with content the way we are. When the game hits the states, it's gonna be one scary MMO.

I'm a little concerned on En Masse's translation of the game. After reading Terafans on the CPE this past weekend, a lot of shit just seems off. They have been working on this game for a while, yet not even the noob zones is translated well and quests were broken. Can't bind keys away from the default, and minor stuff is censored in game so I don't know how armor models and stuff are going to remain unchanged. There is that statue in the first town that is of a naked lady, yet it was clothed in CPE. I remember seeing this a playable version of this game as Comic Con 2010, and nearly a year later it sounds like they haven't even touched the game

^Not sure where the keybind crying came from? I could change any key I wanetd on the keyboard/mouse config. Controller however was not fully operational and a total waste of time (no keybinding etc)

Also EME said the english text was just a quick copy/paste and not the final version.

This is why I say CPEs are good for absolutely nothing. You know EME doesn't play their own game. No company plays their own game seriously. None of the top people at least. They rely on player feedback and less than 2 days of actual game play wasn't going to get anything done.

In their defense, they said IOD wasn't going to be fully translated, along with whatever other content they're giving you, but you and I know that's lazy as shit and there should be no real reason for that, considering EME has been translating for over a year.

The key binding argument you raise is weird, because it can be done in the Korean version, and would be illogical to remove the feature for the NA version. You're probably confused with the auto combo feature, which is bound to space bar, and for some strange, pathetic reason, does not come with the option to disable.

e: There is a lot of shit that will flood the game with Americans, which is what they need to be working on, but not much needs to be worked on out outside of translations. Maybe instant dismount, or cool down on remount, limit the number of keys that can bring up UI, etc. Game's pretty done outside of language if you ask me. Maybe a barer shop?

This is a false or ignorant statement. I'm not trying to prod for a response here but the CPE servers a myraid of purposes.

1) A chance for the NA/EU player base to play the game legally. I don't care that people can buy Korean accounts and play moonspeak Tera all day long just fine. Fact is, most people dont. People who were previous testers or who were inducted this round now have a chance to play a game they may have been following for months if not years. You should see how giddy all these new people are. I felt just like that back in Dec 09 when I got in the first FGT. That playthrough sold me right there on Tera.

2) It was a chance for EME to test their own servers for the first time. It was great, I think they went down once maybe? Everything was smooth and flawless. Granted there were only several thousand testers at most but they worked great.

3) More direct feedback will be coming in from those testers and with the lack of NDA more images, videos and hype can be spread around the community and hopefully grab the attention of people outside the community. Its one thing to come across a Ktera video on Youtube when you know nothing about the game and say, "wow, cool foreign game" vs seeing it in english and realizing it is most likely going to be released in your region.

There's probably other stuff EME/BHS gathers from these tests but I'm not here to toot their horn. You, like most everyone in this thread, knows how amazing this game is.
