As much as I enjoy boobage on my character, I still find every other race very cool looking. Nice thing about TERA is that although there is no race specific armor, each piece of armor looks different on a different race/gender. So each piece has about 11 different designs?

Not allowing any sort of body customization is a bad thing, what are you guy talking about? lol

Not allowing 10 foot monsters and 2 midget shits is a nice things, but a few % in breast side and girth for example does absolutely nothing to the hit box and range of a character.

In the CC aspect of the game, I am slightly disappoint. Nothing major of course, but a tad lazy in my eyes.

I get the feeling that even without the sliders, the playerbase will be 90% female characters on NA launch. ;/

You are mistaken. The amount of male Aman and Popori in CPE was ridiculous. Americans don't like to admit they love women or something. I feel they see something wrong this concept.

Keep in mind that the lack of physical customizations with the character makes it a hell lot easier to animate/prevent gear from clipping into itself.


I'm not sure which race I'd roll if I joined the game. Would probably have an Elin as an alt, but something designed to be that cute looking wouldn't sit well with me over long play sessions. Will probably roll one of those badass looking male races though.

Too many games have been offering full customization just fine. As much as I adore the game, that argument is invalid these days.

Did you play Rift? That game has the worst customization EVER in MMO history (or the 10-12 I played).

I haven't had time to play since before my trip to LA. The game (what I played of it) is amazing. It will be my next dedicated game, no doubt.

Just put together a new computer on Newegg if that helps answer the question.

I have a hard time putting a lot of time into Beta/Foreign version of games when I know I will be quitting it for sure. I'm going to take it to at least 35-45 to get a sense of EXP/quest routes though.

<--- Look at that mug. That's an ass kicker if Ive ever seen one :D The overall racial spread in Tera is fantastic. Each race, male or female, has a lot to offer for visuals. Its win/win reguardless of what gender you play imo.

You guys played Scun? If you beat him, you can beat me lol. I will play some casuals (don't like playing my main over and over online). Scun is a top norcal player.

Yeah, he beat me 2-1, but I dropped a combo after overhead because it was lagging like shit. If it was my mistake, I can handle it, but if its because of the game, I don't play lol.
