Not so much a Korean thing as it is an NHN thing. NHN will be hosting the J-CBT/OBT/retail last I checked. As far as JSSN goes, I have no idea.

While waiting at the Golden Lab entrance, this made me think of BG and his <3 for Aman. lol :3 :3

I guess they aight.
lol
Fairly confident on me never +9ing this unless they change the rate, but I'm interested in these 3 lines. Looked like a great weapon right off of Cents that had attack speed 8% at +6 instead of +9 so decided to start upgrading. Thx in advanced.

No resize this time since text seems to be unreadable any smaller. :3
Chance for a 6% threat/aggro decrease when using skills.
Knockdown attacks do 5.3% additional damage.
HP recovery increased by 7%
EDIT: The last one actually says "HP recovery power increased by 7%." I assumed that just meant passive recovery at first, so I left off the power part, but I guess it could be a 7% increase to heals like Light Staff. That item already has this ability on it, so +9 doubles it.
What's the penalty for failing to upgrade? I assume no bullshit weapon breaking and losing it forever nonsense?
Oh, my nice.
+9 bonus isn't too bad really but oh well.
Thx <3
3 Results.
Success: +1, you get a +% (depends on the stats, weapon's attack is +3%, etc) to your base stats and at +3/6/9 you get extra bonuses (some at +3/5/7/9 or even +1/3/5/7/9)
Fail: You lose your mats and nothing happens to the piece you were trying to upgrade.
Super fail: You lose your mats and -1 to your piece.
So you never lose the weapon you're trying to upgrade, but you lose the weapon you used to upgrade with! e.g. To upgrade a lv50 weapon beyond +6 you'll need to use lv50 gold weapons, and those will be lost forever.
Protip: Never buy something for it's +9 bonus (EVER!!), and never (EVER!!!) attempt it unless it's your ultimate weapon. I spent 40mil and a friend about 61mil, and we never got our weapons to +8 even.
Oh, I thought there were only 2 results? No progress and fail? Hmm............................................... ................................................
Yeah, mats +6 are fucking ridiculously expensive, but thank God no personal weapon break. <3
I know I will be spending ridiculous amounts on trying to +9 items I won't use for very long. I am very weak willed and I cannot deny my love for upgrading items. I hope they don't alter the upgrade system for EU/US version, doesn't sound too harsh as is.
Nah, not bad at all. Post 30, blues will become more standard, so you can start upgrading after that. For now though, considering the price of blues and golds at 50, I wouldn't spent a dime on anything pre 50.
e: Double.
Latency affecting BG too apparently.
Yea Tyrant is worth enchanting, but it's not the best!
Grade 1: Akasha and the 3 lv52 bosses in PK areas.
Grade 2: Tyrant and the 2 lv52 bosses in PVE areas
Grade 3: World drop and craftables (<-- those should not be taken beyond +6, +7 in craftable's case)
The new GL token weapons would fit between grade 2 and 3, but they're worth 200 tokens (about 20 runs) and all 6 of their bonuses are RNG so.
I have the korean open beta client downloaded, and now all I have to do is wait till like 1am tonight when I get paid to buy an account. I'm hoping it won't take them a full day to make me an account, I'd love to start playing tonight.
I'm super stoked about having something to do for once!
If you buy it at 1AM, chances are you won't be able to play til tomorrow morning, which is fine, since you won't want them to cancel you account at 1AM when your 30 days are over. 1-3AM would be m choice for renewing my sub always.
I can't say anything about 3zoom, if that's what you're using. I heard it was instant, but NGW is instant too when purchased at the right time, so your choice.
