Meh, i still have no TERA_invoker file in my Hanpurple folder. I have a TERA_invoker.exe.zip that is in my Hanpurple\Tera_HG but that is a o byte file that THREW A FIT when i tried to make it an exe. I could not delete that effer for the life of me... which kind of scared the shit out of me. Anyway, no idea how i can get this so called invoker file to show up, I don't have it. SO I have to launch from the Hangame site it seems.

Your problem sounds very familiar. Try doing a file check, the dark orange button.
I remember seeing this somewhere in terafans, but I cant find the post now. I think some1 uplaoded the invoker and it worked(?), idk try the file checker for now.

The starter area is pretty straight forward, but if you have any issues let me know and I'll stop by, I'm going to go ahead and grind priest up to 12-15 so I can actually be of some help.

Most quests will be kill x, or gather y. Some quests will require you to use an item in your inventory and use it on a monster. Another part will be entering an instance, which is soloable and you'll have a npc priest following you.

If you can't figure out how to do a quest and you're already above its level just go ahead and drop it. I ended up dropping 2-3 quests because I just couldn't figure out what they needed me to do. I'll post a screenshot later to show you how to abandon a quest, but basically highlight the quest and then at the bottom of the quest log it'll be the button on the far right.

Thanks BT. So starting to think that Hangame's system checker is to blame for my not having an invoker file? I do remember when trying to start the download from IE on Hangame that I got a warning which clearly was saying my Graphics card wasn't going to cut it (not super surprised, as I am on a laptop) but knew that I could run RIFT beta ok and had read that TERA wasn't as bad. Anyway, seems like that small hang up is what was causing the download from the site to be a bit off. At some point it still did create a HanPurple folder though, and I was able to launch from the site after a few different error screens obviously.

So yeah, I don't know if I should be concerned or not. I will do a file check tonight, maybe toss out the invoker.exe.zip file and let it replace that? See what happens.

I had the same issues sorta, the website couldn't identify my graphics card so it just showed up red, but that didn't affect my ability to do anything. Anyways, it seems like it's more trouble than its worth, especially when it takes like 3-4 seconds just to pull up the website and launch the game.
