Random, but I saw the video you posted earlier on youtube, Fenux. (Traverse Town) Which leads me to ask those of you currently playing K-TERA:

Does the game have a good soundtrack? One of the things that always drew me in about a game was the soundtrack, especially an MMO where it becomes so ingrained into your head. That was one of the things that always got to me about FFXI, I always felt it had a good score, and certain areas are hard to forget. (Rolanberry Fields, Ronfaure, etc.) Just hearing it makes me almost want to re-sub, just as hearing tracks as strong as this makes me want to play Shenmue.

Game seems absolutely amazing and from everything you guys have been posting about it, seems like a total blast even if you can't actually read whats going on. From the few pages I've skimmed, seems like I need to buy an account (3zoom or newgameway still the place to get said account?), then download the client via torrent? Would that be the best course of action? Also are most of you guys playing on Mystel? Finally any more information about using a controller to play?

Sorry if this was answered recently, I've been skimming and pretty much just drooling at the screen shots you all posted. Really excited to get into this game, I'm coming from PSO, FFXI, and the short lived DCUO. Thought I would take it light on the MMOs, but due to this thread, looks like that isn't happening anytime soon lol. Thanks for your replies.

that's my setup with xpadder, basically think of L and R as alt/ctrl for FFXI macros
takes time getting used to though, especially remembering which is what lol

SPC=jump
back=auto run
F=pick up loot
ALT=menu

to make it easier, for priest I try to group things together, ie cures = 1234, buffs will be L+123456, attacks R+1234 etc, sure beats playing with a keyboard and mouse for combat imo

TERA OST

This is pre-patch music, so pretty much what we have so far. No word on the tracks coming out later this month but I'm sure it'll get updated.

So I have my account from NGW and I've downloaded the torrent that Frisk posted above, but when I get to patching I'm constantly getting Error Code 112600002. All I can do so far is close the Invoker and relaunch it, after maybe 15-20 relaunches it'll start back up again but hit the same error a few minutes later. I've tried searching and doing what the post on the tera forums said, but it ends up the same.

Should I just keep doing this? I've been patching for like 4 hours and doesn't seem to be getting too far with the constant errors. Any place to download the patch and manually patch it? I'm also thinking about downloading from hangane instead of torrent, maybe that will help. Blah, hopefully it works out soon. I wanna play already lol

lmao I remember those RAGE moments, but no one can blame you, Alexander was pretty behind in tactics and gear when you guys got to it, so everything took 100 hours longer lol.

But ya, I'm psyched to play a proper MMO again. Should be fun, I'm gonna try to get my other friends playing as well. See you guys in game hopefully before I through my computer out the window because of this patching process lol.

Final_dat is broken so you have to manually reset it but I don't think I know of anyone who has had patch errors outside of Final_dat, sorry.

forgot to mention, with that torrent, your directory needs to look like this
C:/Games/TERA/
and that's where your invoker_Launcher should run from
otherwise it'll just run from a different place and completely download the entire 20gig+ again because it's not finding the files you already have when it runs the check

it will still download some of the updated files though, it'll just be less
also login on the launcher as you update, you'll get better speeds

and lastly don't forget to change your password/hangame accounts email
