Nice vid but I had to mute it due to the orgasmo-tron "voice acting" (the buffing, mostly). Shit reminded me of Vanille when I'd play XIII and I used to hope that nobody else was in the house. I mean, I know that TERA is all about tits, loli and beating off first and game (a distant) second, but c'mon: that's what dating sims are for.

Still, the fight was nice. Reminded me of a mix of the 2.5 dragon fight in FFXI and the Big-ass Dragon fight in Dungeon Siege 1. Very thrilling in a hack-and-slashy way.

KOBT ended months ago and we're playing korean retail now. We're on Mystel 미스텔, but I don't think any1 other than Fenux and me still play it from BG.
Every1 played for about a month to try it out and are waiting for NA release.

Just a quick announcement that the ESRB has rated TERA an "M" for "Mature" title. You'll notice that our website and social network pages have been or soon will be updated to reflect this rating. We're also in the process of updating the ESRB rating on the TERA videos found on TERA-Online.com and our YouTube channel.

M for mature is good, but I hope it is for the right reasons. A nice good, deep, dark plot and whanot, not simply the ability to show off tits and panty flashes. We need more Mature games, but we also need more developers to realize that we've grown up. Tits are nice, but a vicious combat system and a rich plot are also worthy of a Mature title.

Is the plot rich? Everything is in Korean, and Korean's aren't known for having the most in-depth plots. Honest question.

iirc in the recent press conference they admit that the story was meh, and that they will do better with upcoming expansions.

While I haven't played enough to see the conclusion of first large plot, I likened it to FFXI on realase several pages ago. The Shadowlord storline was alright, but nothing compared to CoP or perhaps ToaU. With all the things BHS has done right with Tera so far, I am feeling good that they will improve upon the advancement of plot as time progresses.

JP Closed beta info:

=Magno;364371]Earlier today while most of us where sleeping the TERA Hangame channel for the Japan branch website was up live streaming one of their events. Today, the Japaneses Hangame branch announced the Closed BETA dates for TERA in Japan.

It will be held July 1st thru the 4th. Tons of other information was announced but my Japanese is not too good.You can find the recorded stream with the announcement in the following link:

So what does this mean for us ? Could our CBT start before ? Could it be right around the same time ?

I am sure come E3 we will know more.

Now I realize that Japan still has OB then launch before we see CB here but July is pretty much "Summer" which is what BHS announced a few months ago. Was hoping it would be in June but oh well, still seems like their release schedule is on track!

According to Japanese TERA Fans translator Meiellink, in an official Japanese TERA blog, the team announced that TERA would see its CB, OB, and release all in the Summer of 2011. TERA Japan will feature the same client as TERA Korea. The tests and retail version of TERA Japan will of course only be open to residents of Japan, however, it is unknown if you will be forced to use a social security number to join in at this time.

TERA Japan's release time schedule is important to Westerners because a few weeks ago, Bluehole Studio CEO, Kang-Suk Kim, stated that the NA/EU testing period will begin one month after TERA Japan's launch. From this information, it appears we are looking at a late 2011 release for TERA in North America and Europe.

So in a prefect world (riiiiiight) Japan would launch end of July, and "one month" later in Sept we would start CB/OB, making an Oct release? Dunno.

BTW, anyone with an active account can play the test servers. They automatically start you with a LV51 of your choice, fully customizable. I'm FoxeR_7 if anyone is on.

You had to download the full 20 something gb PTS client? meh I rather wait the week or two it takes to hit live.

BTW, we start off with 4 mounts in the PTR. LV20, LV40 and white mount. The other one you can't use yet. The turn-ins are all tripled so I have around 100M on FoxeR to turn in. Should hit 52 instantly, even though the jump went from 29M to 41M TNL on the very first level up.

Just realized all existing accounts start off only with what they got in the real servers, so Foxer doesn't have have the 4 mounts QQ.

Buddy pass ends on June 15th, EXP bonus ends on the May 24th, and update is on the May 25th?. Was confused but finally figure it out QQQ.
