My archer in the pics I posted is a High Elf, and the Mystic I posted is a Castanic. I actually had to go look at the English site for TERA to figure out the class was called Mystic, since the Korean would be translated like "Soul User"

ok so I got my email for the OBT, i'm trying to login to the hangame site via internet explorer, and i'm in a screen that looks like this:

is this an actual error or am I missing a step here?

*edit* seems like my acct. needs a verification, o well my client hasn't finished d/ling yet anyways. lol

Any of you dudes have access to a Korean phone # I could use for SMS verification? Already have the KSSN/etc worked out, this accounts been there for a long while but they added this new layer of authentication at some point. I'd be willing to make my hangame account available to the forum if I could get it over this hurdle.

No idea how it works, but I imagine you just get a message and say yes.

I can't give my phone because it's already linked to my account, but for anyone else:

Immediately after hitting submit on the page where you enter a Korean phone number, that phone will get a message with a 6 digit number. Your web browser will automatically pop up a new window asking for that 6 digit number. Simple as that.

EDIT @ Nitsuki: That page is saying that you need to increase the security on your account. Clicking the orange button looks like it will bring you to a screen where you will be asked to change your password.

@Jubz, you don't need to know Korean. People just a little too cautious, rly. Better safe than sorry I guess but bro, gf and I don't stop talking in broken as fuck English so if we haven't been banned yet, you won't be. Oh, and IDK why you haven't gotten this shit 6 weeks ago when they became availible. There was a 6 hr maintenance in the middle of the day and internet dicked out for 3 hrs 2 days so only got to log in twice for about 12 hrs a pop, waiting at 22 for you I guess. Some lv21 Elite PT mobs just chillin'. There's normal mobs we usually trio at our level(20 at the time pic was taken) for about 600EXP a pop, per mob. Usually they're 3-4 levels above us, always. Kinda like FFXI, where you always wanna low man the Ts/VTs and full PTs can do mobs 6-7 levels above you, to keep the pace nice and fast(20-30 seconds a mob). Then there's these mobs, the Elites; they take about 20 times as long in this game to kill(no real exact number, sry), but the one lv20 Elite we did kill at 19-20(our level) gave us I think 10.2k a pop, when lv22 normal mobs were giving us about 530 a pop. Oh, the Elite did one shot me and gf so yeah, mages are squishy, FFXI style, ESPECIALLY early on.

I made a Lancer on Mystel named Viq. It's only lvl7 now, but I'm having some fun with it. It feels like tanking is going to be a blast in groups, especially raids or dungeons or whatever they end up stuffing into this game. If anyone else that's on Mystel wants to play, or has questions about a translation feel free to ask me. Of course, since Korea and Japan share a time zone, you old FFXI dudes know that I'm 14 hours ahead of the East Coast, so my play times will be when most of you are sleeping.

Finally, I went through and translated all the stat screens, some of the achievements, and a few other assorted menus and such for myself. If anyone still needs any of that stuff, let me know. I can take a couple screenshots and scribble on them easy enough.

@Fenux: I love C9. I haven't been playing much lately, so my Warden is still only 36. It's a ton of fun though. I want to withhold judgement until I have put more time into TERA, but thus far I like C9 a bit better.
EDIT: About class names, the Elementalist in Korean is 마법사 which is almost literally magician. Mystic, as it's listed on the English TERA site, is 정령사 in Korean. I think the best translation for that would be Spiritualist, or something. 정령 means soul/spirit, and 사 is a suffix that means someone who does/uses whatever you stick it onto. One funny note about class names, the Lancer (tank) as it's called in the English version is called 창기사. Google translate only gives you Lancer as a translation for that, but both my dictionary and my phone (every phone in Korea has a English-Korean dictionary built in) list Prostitute as the first translation.

I love how when your lance is holstered on your back, it just looks like a huge cannon. Great shots, I have been having some issues getting the client going, but hopefully i'll be up and running when i get home from work today.
