Sent mine in last night too. The game doesn't look quite as visually good as xiv I think, but still looks like it could be fun and I'd love to help them out just to have something to do lol. Pretty sure if I get this game I'm going full-on mystic. And it's hard to not pick the eye candy Castanics, but I've about had my fill of playing female toons...

First, the important stuff you want to know:

- The Focus Group Test will run from Friday, April 16 through Monday, April 19. The server will only be available at the following times:

>> Friday: 12pm–10pm PDT (7pm–5am UTC)

>> Saturday: 7am–10pm PDT (2pm–5am UTC)

>> Sunday: 7am–10pm PDT (2pm–5am UTC)

>> Monday: 12pm–10pm PDT (7pm–5am UTC)

>> Tuesday: TDB based on player progress


- Invitations for FGT2 will go out Monday, April 12, with instructions on how to download and install the TERA client, as well as a list of PC requirements required to run the test. FGT participants will have from that time until the start of the test on Friday to download and install the client and any necessary updates.


- FGT2 will cover approximately levels 1–25 of the game. FGT participants will be asked for both general and specific points of feedback about the game. They will be under an NDA (non-disclosure agreement), and will have access to a section of the TERA forum where they can post their notes and discuss the FGT with other users.


- Check your spam filters and junk mail folders for emails about FGT2 if you don’t see one by Tuesday, April 13.

En Masse hasnt said yet, but they are located in Washington State, so on PST time. I would guess/hope probably late morning/early afternoon. I will post here when mine pop up. ((on official site post said earliest emails will go out is 10am PST))

nothing yet for me, hope i get in. Site says they had an overwhelmingly large response to FGT #2 and not everybody will be accepted.

Its hard to say how many people they will let in, the first run was only 250 people or so, even if they double that to 500 new people, still only makes 750ish playing online. They are still wanting very specific feedback on gameplay, changes etc. so perhaps they want the #s low for that reason.

i've never made an account on there before, so i actually decided to go ahead and make on just now on my own accord.

Cant use my forum name, keep getting a "username not available" message when i tried to register up, so i wonder if they keep the forum name you put on your application or something? idk but im fucking pissed somebody stole my name if that isn't the case.

some epic fucking bullshit here. nowhere did they say you were required to be an active forum poster in that app. Now it makes sense why they asked for the forum username.

Took a look at the official statement for how they choose testers and basically it translates down to those who stalk the forum all day speculating about a game that is months away from release. Thats not what it says but the way they have shit set up over there its how its done.

i'll wait for an official beta test.

I only lurked there until I saw the fgt2 announcement and then I signed up the same time I applied. Some people signed up last month and have almost a thousand posts. They keep saying that the quality of your posts are taken into consideration and that preference will be given to "good" community members, but some of the people I saw with the title just fucking spam shit all day, every day.

FGT#2 ends today, also posted another interview in OP. There is probably leaked video/images out if people want to look for it, I will update next time something worth while is announced.
