TERA Japan will feature the same client as TERA Korea. So many good things to look forward to this year though. NGP, 3DS, TERA. I'm glad that I at least got some time in on the korean beta, granted it makes me want to play the game more.

Nice to see someone quoted this. I originally thought the actual retail was coming out in Feb in Korea, then Aion 2.5 and no TERA box purchase happened.

They have been toying with the idea of an end of Q2 testing period in Japan and release in Q3 in Japan, with an NA testing period a month after JP release for a while. Meaning yeah, July/Aug testing for NAs and a Fall release. Ive been posting that info for about a month already because it's good stuff really. There's people that have been waiting since beta started, back in Sept 2009 for this game.. and people waiting for it since announcement back in 07/08 for it, I doubt another half a year for a polished retail is bad thing anymore. We seen what happens when you rush MMOs, and it's very clear that this isn't taking that path.

Would this game be rushed if it was released simultaneously in US at this point? Hopefuly all the content and fixes from Korean retail to NA release period is included at least.

If NA release is in fall, 2012 for EU most likely and cash shop few months later knowing frogster...

Nah, not rushed. If it's release here now, it would be all servers open PVP with the huge EXP curve past 38. No English voices or text initially if it were to come out here immediately but nothing incredibly major or rushed I think.

Thats not entierly true.. Last FGT had plenty of english translated areas, I think you had to get past lvl 20 areas to find raw Korean stuff but the point of the test was lvl 20 and below.

Anyway, I would like to think its ready to roll here in the US/EU but tweaks and all that are being made could be everything from minor to major. Korea has 1 server type, where we will have 2 (maaaaaybe 3 if EME decides to make a RP server type). With that said, who knows if the PvP servers will have different PvP rules than those of KOR release? EME has been open with a lot of generic things they are doing (lore, quests lines and other obvious things) and very tight lipped on other thinigs (like beta schedule, rulesets etc).

I have always felt the game played great but I am only one person.
