Censoring words on both the official and biggest fan sites is quite homo too, if you ask me. Which is why I try to link a bunch of shit to this site, seeing as how the average poster here is over 12. Still a good source to get some info, seeing as how they're most likely gonna get it first but yeah, still a bit young.

They aren't gonna change Elin at all lol, it will require a substantial amount of resources that the dev team (or w/e they are called) over here doesn't have. They are changing content:
#obviously story to a degree
#adding quests or changing some quests around if needed
#change racials if needed, prolly some spells around a little
#ect...

but having resources to censor character and or change existing armor to be less revealing is a whole other story. That, and censorship from the Korean counterpart won't go over well. As w/ any official / fan forum.. if dev's go there to post or look for feedback.. they ignore 99% of ppl post lol

How are you so sure they aren't changing Elin. I don't think it's so much the censorship as it is changing it to where it looks less comical. The Elin race looks completely different from all other races because it was -just- added. It just looks like it doesn't fit in.

I tend to agree with Katlan. I seriously doubt they would change Elin at this point. I mean I realize they were added fairly recently, but I just don't see Enmasse changing that particular art asset at this point. If they did there would probably be an uproar on the forums, not that they'd likely give a shit either way.

Recent info about Elin from EME in this thread http://www.tera-online.com/forums/sh...t=15098&page=4 is that if any changes are made, they will be extremely minor. Goes on to further clarify that chages are only being considered for some parts of EU realease, nothing NA side.

I do agree that they tend to seem a bit out of place, especially compared to the other races.

I hope this game gets released in the Fall, I'm stuck traveling around the whole summer for work, and I don't want to miss this title...

It was confirmed by EME a while ago already that our official testing will start a month after JP release. JP release being the 6th month this year. So 1 closed and 1 open = Aug/Sept release if all goes well.

The bullshit release date on GameStop has it September. I know anything coming from the GS database is 99.9% but it's funny to see TERA Online or Terra Online there with a Sept 2011 release and employees not knowing what the fuck it is. I thought GS employees knew everything about games omg.

So right now, what's confirmed is:
Community test: March
Stress test: May
Closed beta: July

Not confirmed:
Open beta: Month following closed beta?
Release: day/couple days after open to keep characters?

Could be complete BS but that's what has been said by EME on a few occasions during the last couple of months. Also have to remember ever since before Elin was ever put in, the K release was supposed to be end of 2010 with a western released Q1/Q2 2011 but that got delayed already. : (

Nothing new to people who have played it outside of a dungeon name translated in English but interesting nonetheless. :3 Safe to say EUs and NAs will get same names for all/most items and zones. Also, a few mobs I have not seen before anywhere 1-50 so hmm.. Interview soon so gonna keep an eye out for it.

newgameway.com sells account and 30 days for $35. Would be $25 a month after that. All kssn/accounts are 'legit' from that site. There have been a few occasions in which the account has gotten locked out and ngw sent player another valid kssn so best bet is to just dish out cash or wait a few months for our beta.

Nothing's 100% secure but I have yet to hear of a problem, nor have I had any problems with the 3 accounts I've purchased there.

One more thing on TERA. 2.23 patch killed the working EN data pack that were available and no one can seem to get another working set so you're going to have to manage playing in full Korean.

6 months ago I would have sworn I'd play a Slayer (rolled at one for both FGTs) but more and more Berserker is really pulling me in. Guess I'll find out this month.

Also, I hightly doubt the interview from TeraFans will be much to talk about. As we';ve all seen, EME can dodge questions like pros. That and some of the posed questions Ive skimmed over there are just the same ol cannon fodder :/

Yeah I agree. But the reasons people keep asking them is because EME just loves to not answer them. No clue if this time will be different now that KTERA is out but we'll see.
