I was being a high elf no matter what This game has the sickest looking races and best mix of unique characteristics since XI.

The really great thing is the move from the traditional MMO feel of combat, I mean we're all used to it and are quite satisfied (I suppose) but a change is always welcome.

Yeppers. And by us being used to it, you mean the people who are used to traditional MMOs only. I've been MMOing for about 10 years but been playing games for slightly longer than that, and TERA feels like I've been playing it for longer than say the 7 years of my XI career. It's just soooooooooooooo natural, it's not even funny.

Sexy characters are sexy, eh? Goes to show the Elin:everything else ratio in this game, but more funny is the female:male ratio lol.

Elin is a huge alt character from what I see though, and a lot more lower level Elins than I see mains 40+

Man, this game has some serious eye candy. The character models obviously look gorgeous, but so does the rest of the game. Really can't wait to try this one out.

I agree, even the monsters look fantastic. I always thought Aion had good looking characters but the monsters had much lower details for me and that put me off.

I like the castanic's females, but high elf makes a better priest

Uh the thing I don't like about Aion is the flat textures. You can't really say 'wow, that's a big ass monster' because it just doesn't feel like it. Most BAMs in Aion look stretched out. I guess it's just one of the cool things that comes out of this particular art style.

That and the vitality of jobs in this game(so far) makes it more fun than everything else out so far.



PT in lv.38 instance 2-3 levels higher without a proper tank.

I mean the mob is grey in this fight lol and it's all over the place. You can do this 1-2 levels lower with full PT and Warrior or Lancer. Maybe they just bad at holding hate though, I dunno.

Anyway, hype is cool. Allow me to keep you niggaz hype'd.

Is there a skill tree or is it the boring go to the skill trainer to learn stuff?

Skill trainer and merits. Merits start at 25. Merits work towards new skill and to enhance skills you already have, according to points you accumulate over time by leveling.
