Single monitor 1080p needs a single 470 or 6870 for what the game options offer.

That's good, if I had to upgrade my PC to play this I'd have just said fuck it. FF14 has soured me to the MMO genre's shenanigans.

I built a top end pc 3 years ago and run the game fine, despite havng a 9800 gtx sc. the problem with XIV wasn't that it looks good, it was that the UI ran/runs like ass. Again, my gf and I have the same pc and her lj; catxxcat.com has all 3 games and what they looked like. TERA, not only looking the best for what she has, but also running the best.

As soon as you view High Elf Female in character creation, you're going to pick Lancer, because it's by far the sexiest thing you'll ever see in a video game, as far as character creation previews go. Throughout leveling, outside of Male plate, I think HE F have the best looking plate armor in game, since it has leather sticking out of the sides on it, in almost all of the body pieces.

And they have the best voke animation ever;

XIV was/is a horribly optimized game. Even on great systems it still ran like shit

You're running that on max settings with a 9800gtx? What cpu and how much ram? Also is that shell looking thing to the left of her a lance?

Yeah, no. I run no AA, 5/6 textures and 1/2 smooth, right from the in-game settings. Card set to performance.

I think the current reccomended comp specs are:

CPU: Dual-core
RAM: 2GB or more
Graphic Card: GeForce 9800 or better
DIRECTX: DirectX 9.0c or higher
HDD: 30GB free hard disk space

I use a GeForce GTX 275 and ran Tera on da max. Very gpu friendly imo
