I like how the dungeons are optimized for 5-man. Shouldn't require waiting 2 hours for 20+ people to gather, then an extra 30 minutes for that one 'slow guy'. Group of friends, or a few ready to go LS-mates and you're set.

They make it clear that they don't like PUGing throughout the game. Some dungeons throughout storyline are 1 man minimum entrance and some have NPC helpers. Bosses are hella hard at your level though, don't get me wrong.

This game definitely sits better with me than Rift does. The characters can be actually called that and not toons. They have "weight" to them and overall the game is more what I like as a person that preferred FF games.

Yeah this is as close to FFXI as you get. That probably makes absolutely no sense, but you have to play it to notice.

Watching videos the fights remind me a lot of MH, how similar is it to MH for those who have played both?


P.S I loved the HELL out of MH, especially Multiplayer.

Bottom left exit of Velika. Stables are there. It's 210k I think, but you can get as a reward for the level 20 dungeon.

Finish the lv20 story quests (red ones) at the end of it you'll get a free horse. You'll probably be about lv22 when you finish.
or buy it outside the main city at lv20 for 210k.

I was able to translate the Rohan client way back when, I might be able to do the same for TERA, the only deal is the character sizes for korean vs. English could make it a little difficult if the engine needs to be tweaked to support it. Either way if people are being DMCA'd for it, I won't be posting anything I find publicly, but I doubt it'll be hard to do.

So the Elin's ears/tail are related to the hair style chosen? I've watched a few videos of the character creation, but it's hard to tell if they're just presets or not. I'm guessing they aren't and those are what hairstyles/ear combos you get to pick from. Little sad that some of the hairstyles I really like aren't cat ears/tail. There's ones that sort of pass for cat, but the tail is curled like a squirrel I think.

Ears bound to hair. Tail is completely separate. Color for all completely separate as well.
