I'm dying to try it out. Does the Korean version support controllers? Just to confirm, I won't need to use a VPN to play right? Damn impulses!

Yeah, this game reminds me of my favorite 2 online games of all-time (and I've played them since EQ1, basically ALL of them lol): FFXI and PSO - combined. Will play for years to come :D Must have a solid guild from day 1 with a website, system, core of members, etc so lets start it off from members of this thread + their FFXI friends.

Honestly, in my experiences, the average FFXI endgameplayer is lightyears more reliable than those found in other games.

It's a great idea because you can expect plenty of content that will be there for your group and you actually need other people. Your website and plans wont get burnt like with FF14.

Just bought an account as well and gonna try this out as soon as I get my account info. http://www.tera.hangame.com/pds/download.nhn takes me to www.hangame.com homepage though. Is that because of maint.? tried it in IE.

From me bringing 1 guildy along, we've converted another 16 so far.
Non are BGers but still, this threads responsible for them as well indirectly I guess

Quick question about how the combat plays out, does it play similarly to any other game? And I assume the "action RPG" means it's not ability/spell spamming a'la WoW/Aion?

Yeah, I am. I've had terrible luck getting into beta tests in the past though.

Game is bringing back tons of XI memories, it looks like the game Ive been wanting to play since i stopped playing XI (after like 4 years) lol.

watch youtube video's or something. It's nothing like WoW or any mmo that uses a targeting system

Means no RNG or fancy numbers for determining if you hit or not. If you're bad, trust me, this game will let you know.

Game plays like a well made version of Dragon Nest, but not rly.

I've been playing a decent amount lately with the FFXI servers down. Going to sign up for testing of the English version, since I don't speak Korean all that well yet (I've lived here years now, I'm just lazy >.>) and get kinda lonely ^^; Have a few pretty pictures ^^

I have to admit, a description like FFXI+PSO has piqued my interest in this. Signed up for the beta test and all that, not gonna pay for a game twice, especially not an MMO after XIV being a complete let-down. Hopefully it's good and I can get into the beta, wouldn't mind jumping in on whatever guild-thing that's being arranged.
