For my screenshots I'm running a Core i7 920 with 6 gigs of ram and a 5870 1gb card. I got down to 23-27fps in town where there were a billion bazaar things standing around, but everywhere else the game runs super smooth on max settings (no AA forced on yet).

Lancer is lance + shield and is a tank, nothing like dragoon/kain.

So been looking at this game on and off. Thinking about purchasing it when the game comes stateside, however I have three questions.

1) What are the recommended system requirements to play the game? What do you recommend?

2) How is the grind in the game? Low, Medium, High? What are the main sources of gaining EXP.

3) How is class differentiation? Are any OP or is there good balance?

1) Although not finalized, TERA's estimated minimum system requirements are:
• Intel Core Duo 2 Processor (or equivalent) or better
• 2 GB of RAM or greater
• nVidia GeForce 7600 / ATI Radeon X1800 GTO (or equivalent) or better

Recommended System Requirements (atm)
CPU: Dual-core
RAM: 2GB or more
Graphic Card: GeForce 9800 or better
DIRECTX: DirectX 9.0c or higher
HDD: 30GB free hard disk space

2) Grind in NA/EU version will be Low to Medium. "main" source of exp is questing/missions but group exp via mobs is also viable (soloing exp will prob be slowest)

3) Most classes are very unique. Closest to being similar are Berserker and Slayer. Not sure which classes are OP atm because BHS is constantly tweaking them. Also something to think about is OP in terms of the PvE envrionment vs the PvP one.

Classes in PVP are prolly imba a little IMO, but the game is 8 weeks old. Classes in PVE are exactly where they need to be ATM. Everything else has been answered numerous times, even through the last couple of pages.

how are races played out in this game? slightly better stat wise (like XI) or better at abilities (like....WoW >.>; )

really wouldn't mind been the Amani liking the lizard/dragon look

Differences in races comes down to racial abilities and things like reach/hitbox etc.

so on this kind of line Amani is more suited for front line work like warrior or Berserker?

Veteran Fighter (Active): For 30 seconds, lowers the chance to get knocked down / paralyzed by 70%.

Descendant of Davan (Passive): When your HP goes below 30%, your defense increases.

Strength (Passive): Increases the chance to resist status ailments.

Those are the racials for you. Amani make the best Tanks, followed by Elf and Baraka, in no particular order. Racial traits aren't going to be the same when we get them. They're not even going to remain the same in the Korean retail.
