Also, are there any alternatives to how expensive fresh berries are? Like, a good, reliable brand of frozen berries that, if cooked properly, taste fucking awesome? I can tackle $20 worth of blueberries in one sitting without breaking a sweat so it's hard to buy some with the intent of them actually existing past the first day.
And meats: seems that the cheapest meats aren't the lean cuts? Am I just shopping in the wrong places? I've never prepared meat that doesn't come pre-cut before so I'm hugely ignorant on this.
