I don't know if it's your camera that sucks or...you have some special baby asparagus, but, is that baby asparagus?
Either way, looks delicious.![]()
eh baby arugula
Every time I see a picture posted by Meat I get the urge to buy him a digital camera that wasn't made before I was born.
That looks good, but damn would I need some kind of dressing that has more to it than just peanut oil.
it's the stupid cellphone![]()
get me an ellyptical machine for christmas, babeh
I want 2 or 3 of the straight guys from my gym tied up in ribbon
Ok guys. When Benching my right shoulder feels I dunno, I guess weaker and much more strained than my left, in fact I don't feel it in my left. I've watched videos of Rippetoe that someone provided with me in this thread before, but I want to make sure that I'm doing it right. I could ask someone, but I usually try to go when the gym is empty to get the most out of the equipment, is it just that I'm lifting with my right and over compensating, or something else?
I had an issue like that, I just slowed my reps down a little and made sure to keep the bar as even as possible. Make sure your ass is on the bench and your shoulders are as "together" as possible so you feel it in your chest more than your shoulders, also you should tense up your stomach while lifting. Maybe lower the amount by 10lbs or so?
Wat, confused.
Instead of using a barbell for chest presses use dumbbells. If you do 100, do 50x2, etc.
Ok that's an alternative, but can I ask you something? What is an easy way to tell when I'm putting too much strain on one arm? I'm right handed and I do everything with my right hand/arm so it's really difficult to tell. It's always kind of been natural especially to lift primarily with my right arm. I'm new, again, to lifting so I'm sorry if this is a stupid question.
Just slow down and watch to keep the bar even when lifting, that's really all I've ever done. After a while it becomes second nature. You can't really do anything about one arm lifting better than the other when it's the one you use for everything as far as I know.
idk about anyone else, but no way I could just halve my barbell bench press and do that in each hand...
Thanks for the advice. I'll keep that in mind. Did like an hour of treadmill, and some bike/stair thing(idk what it's called, but it makes my heart rate go way higher than the other two, lol)
Another question I had is, I mentioned heart rate, I am sure those machines are accurate at counting it. But are they accurate at deciding how high I need to go?
Example: Treadmill has a fat burn setting, I enter age/weight etc, and it gives me a suggested hr. Sometimes it slows down from what I am doing and I usually turn it back up because I wasn't sure if I should trust it. Thoughts?
Since squats supposedly increase your natural hgh levels... would that have anything to do with me remembering more dreams lol? Since I started doing squats and t-bar raises I've started having dreams more often...
Or it could be the thread about dreams I read the other day *shrug*
Wtf are hgh?
