    For people just starting out that are competely ignorant on not just calories, but how to make good food choices in general, it is absolutely critical to count calories. It's amazing to see how unhealthy you have been eating when you sit down and work all that shit out. It's a real eye opener and can provide some serious motivation to clean up your diet.

    After you've educated yourself about food, it becomes less important to count calories, but moreso because you begin to train yourself to do it without thinking about it when making food choices.

    However, when you're ready to up your diet game after the inital clean up to match your workout goals, it becomes critical again to know exactly what it is your putting in your body.

    All right I could read through the 100 pages and find the information I need but I'm just showing how lazy I can be.

    I had called and talked to an Air Force recruiter and everything was good but one thing. My height and weight were not to the "standard" so I need to be losing weight but not sure where to start period. Halp

    Today didn't suck as bad as I thought...decline bench, dumbell flat bench, incline flys and then whatever that thing is where you lay on a flat bench and hold the weight over your head and shit, idk.

    Did 105 on decline (still highest) but I did a lot more reps than I normally would.

    That's a solid chest day. I approve. Throw some tricep exercises on that bitch though too and do some pushups. One of the best ways to improve your max bench is to do pushups.

    Alright, sorry for getting ready to ask the same question again, but if you think I'ma read 101 pages of mostly guys words...even though Meat is sexy as fuck. Yes homo.

    I stand 5'11 ~180. I am good with retaining the skinny look, just want to be more toned. Legs are good, arms are small, abs need definition, lower back is weak. I play basketball, would play football and ultimate frisbee if I found people where I live.

    I plan to start my second iteration of P90X and play basketball, maybe walk the dog and very unlikely to jog. I also may workout at the gym right after hooping. So those are what I would do. My question is actually about the supplements. I got Whey Protein that I will take in a smoothie/shake after workouts, but what else, or what instead should I take, and when(before workout, waking up, after ejaculating, while stealing your bike, etc.). And I kinda wanted to ask about how I should focus my eating, but I think Belkin answered that at the top of the page.

    Well I did a whole day of triceps 2 days ago, so they were pretty worked already.

    I wanted to do incline dumb bell press but it would've been right after incline flys so I didn't

    Alright, this is a thread I've been looking for. I want to lose weight. Currently, I weigh 207 lbs and i'm 6'0. I want to go back to my high school weight which was 170. I've been doing a lot of exercise and even changed the way I eat and I have got no success. Do you guys got any suggestions? Will running do all the work or no?

    what's "a lot" of exercise? If you're already exercising, the reason you're not losing weight is because you're eating more calories than you burn. Use an online calorie counter and figure out how many calories you eat in a day, then cut 15-20% off that amount and don't go over it.

    I'm assuming you are around 21~22yrs old.

    It is better to tell us what you eat for your breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Also, do you eat besides these 3 meal periods? And what are they? The other is do you drink beer/alcohol alots (more than one can).

    And you said you have done alots of exercise, thus it is better to tell us about which kind of exercise you have been done.

    I'm sorry but that is the most vague thing ever.

    I think I'll side with Atreides here... Even if you start to work out, if your diet isn't cleaned up, or at least scrutinized, you probably won't be losing weight. You're probably still eating more than you burn. Losing weight is about 80% diet, 20% everything else.

    However, this is just my assumption because your post was vague as to what you eat and what you do to 'workout'.

    Running could possibly do all the work if that's what you want to do. Also depends how much muscle mass you want to keep as you lose weight.

    hey, its np lol i wish you 2 the best of luck! as you can see, im not really the best guy to give advice as far as forms and whatnot since i pretty much do what i want on the days i workout and break all the rules, but as far as dieting goes, im pretty good. atredies is still the #1 guy for it though, since he's basically qualified to be a certified dietitian almost. even some of his family is. but im not too bad. i'm like Caiyuo when it comes to finding food deals on food! im cheap as hell! mwahaha
