no, they open up the parking lot a couple days a week and people are free to participate, they have like random strongman stuff. as long as you pay your $20 a month membership anyone's free to sing up.

Oh nice! Yeah. The ones I've seen here are at parking lots too. Maybe I should check them out now that I know there is no real cost!
Eh that strain in my left arm really bothered me in the Gym today. It effects almost any pushing / pulling motion. Lightweight or heavy it's the same pain. It feels more like a nerve issues since it shoots through my arm to my wrist sometimes. I'm going to take 4~ or so days off and just hit the bike on high resistance. I may do some ab/core training since I normally don't do much of that.
Also I've been eating breakfast late and when I do it's normally only peanut butter crackers and OJ. I picked up some Monster Mass and I'm going to start taking a shake for breakfast with 1 tablespoon of peanut butter. Would this suffice for breakfast or what else should I toss in the blender? With 2 cups of 1% milk and 1 tablespoon of peanut butter (adds nice taste!)

posting videos of yourself lifting, vain much?
you should wear long socks so the bar doesn't scrape away your shin skin.
LOOK WHO'S TALKING. I just figured it'd be helpful for actual people who know how to lift to give me feedback on my lifting form...
And boo @ socks. Am I doing it wrong? I rarely scrape my shin
jerking to those when i get home
^
yep yep yep
I don't see any wrong in squat, deadlift seems fine too. Maybe for deadlift, just be aware that you don't bend your back way too much at the lowest position. I have seen a much ackward DL pose before... But the motion toward standing pose seems very good for me.
But there is a mistake thought, you forget to include the weight of the bar, the actual weight is 185 :D
No, it is 140 with the 45 bar included.I wish it was actually 185
Thanks for your feedback...the actual FIRST feedback.
i thought those 3 plates were 35 (or 45), 25 and 10 lbs, by judging their sizes
2x35 lbs, 2x10, 2x2.5 Guess the camera not only makes people look fatter, but also makes plates look bigger.
i am jeal that you have a gym with 35 plates
What kind of place doesn't have 35/45 plates...? >_>
we got 45s but 35s would also be nice
your squat form is really, really good. Only possible thing I saw wrong with the deadlift was that it look like you were leaning backwards slightly at the top but that could just be the angle of the camera.
You know you can post those over at the starting strength forums and have them critiqued by actual experts (possibly rippetoe himself) right?
or you can continue to post em here so that my fellow deviants can add it to their spank bank.
