for the dead lift you need to start the lift with your legs earlier, if you look from 10-11 seconds, you move but the bar doesn't. You need to keep everything tighter, every inch you move, the bar moves an inch.

So I've been playing golf semi-regularly. And I work out pretty consistently.....
......golf made me sore in a lot of places I didn't think got sore. Weird, weird thing...golf....
Quick and sort of weird question. I've had this feeling before but I've never wondered what it actually is until today. When I go on a run or have a moderate to tough workout, sometimes I get a weird sensation in my gums/teeth during my cooldown, and clenching my teeth makes it feel a lot better. Anyone know what it is? Physiologically, I mean?
Edit: did some googling and found what seems like a plausible explanation, if anyone cares/was curious:
The only thing I can think of is that it must be pain from the vasodilation taking place within your teeth.
As you probably know, during exercise, blood is rerouted to more urgent matters, when the CO2 output of muscles increases, and the the O2 demand goes up, blood vessals to organs like the stomach, liver, kidneys etc constrict (vasoconstriction). This happens in the mouth too, even though there is not a huge amount of blood to be gained by rerouting from here, every little helps. This is why your saliva becomes thick and stringy during exercise, due to less being produced, so more of it sits around in your mouth and you swallow less, and less water goes into it too.
After exercise, as the blood goes back to places that were receiving little supply it forces the blood vessals open again, even the ones inside your teeth. This pain you are feeling is most likely the nerves being recompressed as the blood vessals expand again.
I wouldn't look too much into a vitamin or mineral deficiency here, I simply can't see how that would affect these nerves. They are very sensitive after all, thats the same reason some people suffer almost intolerable pain when drinking cold drinks or eating ice cream.
couple questions
im at a point where, if i dont eat for like 2-3 hours, i feel like a sober crackhead. and im not even hungry, i just NEED my protien. but i eat plenty of fibers and whatnot as well, but my funds are running a bit low since im saving up for a plane ticket. but i looked into nitrocore 24 by ON. i guess its supposed to be used between meals to keep your body in that protien digesting mode. has anyone had any experience with this? should i try it? or should i just stop being lazy, and continue making 2-3 eggwhite omelets for later on the day? and if it is good, can i use this even when im cutting? im assuming i cant use gold's forever. it has like 0 carbs lol and ive been relying on it a bit too much lately with my busy schedule. (almost 4x a day)
also, i missed one of my meals on saturday and had to go about 5 hours without food, so i ended up going to subways on the way home and took home the oven roasted chicken on wheat. 6in of that is like 24 grams of protien. so i had about 48 when i ate that entire sandwich (plus i put cheese on mine, so maybe 50+?)... but i didnt have to poop. like at all... for the rest of the day. i had an intense workout the day before, so im still thinking it was probably going right to my recovery, but is that some sort of hint that i can safely take in about 35-40+ grams or protien without having it go to waste? or shit's situational?
I can't imagine being bound by the laws of eating every 2-4 hours ever again. It seems so inconvenient.![]()
it sucks so much ass. good thing, i am NEVER hungry. ever EVER again. even when i skipped those 2 meals on sat. im still getting the minimum cals required to maintain my muscle, but im still gradually losing fat, lol. im almost 34 on my waist, and to be perfectly honest, the only cardio i've been doing are those slow walks on empty stomach ones. i've been skipping the HIIT at the gym, lol. i kinda want to go back to HIIT though. it feels weird burning fat without having to sweat or get tired, its very uncomfortable. i cant help but feel guilty knowing im not losing as much muscle as someone else i see who's face looks like they've seen a ghost, pouring all their effort into running.
Someone give me 4 bicep excercises to do today. (yes just biceps day...i'm having a hard time staying focused because of some personal shit so I just split the two and did triceps yesterday)
bicep curl, low row/t-bar row, pull down/ups... thats four!
warmup. then
barbell curls x2, hammer curls x3, preacher curls x3, cable or concentration curls x2
in that order
What I do is mix 1 scoop of whey with 1 cup skim milk, 1 banana, and half a teaspoon of raw organic coconut oil. This makes me feel full for hours on end. I usually take it before I go to sleep so that I don't wake up 2 hours later hurting from hunger pains.
Not to mention that you can easily store it in a water bottle and sip on it rather than eating a whole meal at work. It makes life pretty easy.
hey, whatever gets you results, right?
so no-one here tried nitro core 24 yet? i guess ill give it a go than, and let you all know how i like it. i love that it has carbs and fiber for in-between meal periods. my carb cycle isnt really up to speed and i end up not getting enough, and running low on fuel on those crucial days lol. so i really dont think this will be too bad
Ok so I've been squatting with my legs a bit further apart and my feet turned out... it seems harder?? I had to reduce my weight back to 135 instead of 140 and it was still pretty difficult to push through 5x5. However, I felt I was able to get closer to ATG. It seems with this stance, my legs gave out quicker, almost. My question is: Is that how it's supposed to be? Just wanted to make sure I'm doing it right. Thanks.
