If anything, maybe water weight.... doubt you could though...in any healthy way, at least. If you're lucky, maybe 3-4 lbs? :D

Meh, just can't stand my extended family and love shoving it in their faces that I'm doing so much better at life then they are. Not to gloat but I'm a pretty handsome guy too so I'm not trying to show up like I'm slipping on my looks.
I was thinking of going hardcore cardio and stop weight-lifting altogether for now and reduce my calorie intake, how does this sound?
OBviously you aren't doing much better in life... that 10 lbs heavier matters that much to you.
On a different note--anyone have suggestions for a jump rope? Looking for adjustable (since I'm short)and speed jump rope. Thanks!
The closer you are to ideal weight, more difficult it is to lose. Seeing how it took me 8 weeks to go from 186 to 168(and another 2 weeks from there to 164) at 5'6", I'd say yes, but not w/o both starving and euro training exercise
deadlifts are a bitch to master with us tall people lol. but squats just come naturally. i love leg extensions. i can thank my huge legs to those more than i can with squats. but squats/deadlifts are great for killing 1 million birds with 1 stone. i used to only rely on those as my ab exercisesbut i gotta stop being lazy. my legs are humongous now. i just need a little mizango 4 pack by feb, and im good babeh'.
From what I understand heavy cardio on a very calorie-restricted diet will fuck up your weight loss(something about hormones, I don't know the details). You can lose 10lbs of scale weight in 15 days easy, but you can only lose ~6lbs of actual fat. Best is to eat nothing but protein(no carbs), fiber, omega 3(6g/day), multivitamin+calcium, magnesium, and potassium, and do low volume(but maintain intensity) resistance training. You should be eating enough protein to where you don't feel any real appetite. And put salt on your food. And you're not supposed to do it for more than 2 weeks because apparently you'll die or something. You probably won't lose any belly fat though, as that is the last to go.
Read this guy's shit: http://www.bodyrecomposition.com/
I'd keep your calorie intake as it is or just a little lower. Dont stop weight lifting. Just make sure you do it before cardio as it will increase your metabolism rate for quite a few hours and will let you lose more fat while keeping more muscle. It's generally better to keep a high intensity weight lifting (not to the max of strength you can, but something that is still hard to do... say 8-10 repetitions instead of 15. Doing sets of 15 repetitions will burn more calories on the workout itself, but wont increase your metabolism nearly as much and will be worse in the long run, as far as I know.). As it has been said, make sure you get all your proteins. And run baby, run.
Dont eat or drink the day before? behing dehydrated would be a nice temp fix, unless you are there for more than a day lol. any of these "solutions" pretty much guarantees you will feel like shit though.
this man on the right is my dad's training partner/long time friend, ray. he has never bench pressed a day in his life and has one of the best chests i have ever seen, lol. he doesnt do anything for chest, but flies and dips.
he makes funny faces when taking pics. his legs are kinda small compared to his huge upper body, but his calves are fucking gigantic. my diet is similar to his... but hes a fucking 10 year lawyer. he makes about 160k/year, and is able to afford to eat like 7 chicken breasts a day from whole foods, while i have to supplement shakes to catch up. but i eat 10 eggs a day like he does.

i've been eating about 5k cals a day approx, and despite putting on extra weight, my stomach doesnt look too bad. i need to work on my chest, and traps and now abs ; but i think my abs area a lost cause, due to severe excess skin
Spoiler: show
this is a pic my gf took, before i ended my cutting phase. excuse the frost spot on the camera lol. it was -25c this day
Spoiler: show
i dont think ill ever get as big as ray lol. not without some kind of drug enhancement injections at least. but god, it would be nice to be in his body for one day ;x
your upper chest is lacking hardbody, have you switched entirely to switched inclines? as for abs you should still be able to break out a 4 pack,
hell yeah, i noticed it tooim back to doing incline benches/dumbells for now, just to get it "up" a bit more, and build more mass onto it. right now, its hard as rock, but its hardly anything to grab near my chest collar. (before i was doing lots of flies. dips, and peck decks)
as for abs, i dont know. im trying'. i do a ton of leg lifts, ab crunch cables, and the romanian twists, along with the squats and DL's. i feel the pain, and the hurt. and even when i sneeze, i feel my abs tighten, but my stomach skin is so fucking thin man. it feels like its layered and i can poke a sharp pencil through it. it sucks so much
fuck that fancy shit and train abs like any other muscle, weighted 6-12 rep range. it's the long arm thing, i'm working hard on the peck\delt tie in too.
man, this is why i love talking to you lol. i would MUCHHHHHHH rather do the 6-12 reps of abs more than i do 50 of those fucking cable crunches. what do you do for your ab workouts? i try to implement one on every single workout day, before or after cardio ;x usually i wouldnt focus on it that much, but when i want something. ill do whatever it fucking takes until i get it lol
Laying on a decline sit-up thing and doing full sit ups holding a 45lb plate or a dumbbell of your choice for 3x10 has proven to be pretty nice for me.
Like one of these, just dont be a pussy and make it too flat and gotta keep increasing the weight :D

Those are good for birthing training too I hear.
^ Almost spit my shake on my keyboard.
Looking good Rich! I know I don't have to remind you but be patient and keep up the hardwork.
I've been swapping abs and calves/forearms every other workout for a couple weeks now. I try to hit both of the with 6+ sets of weighted/concentrated 12-15 reps. I didn't hit my target bf% this cut. I'm dreading my next cut because I know it's going to be incredibly difficult for me to lose from my problem area... Lower back / lower stomach.
Btw it has been about 1 week into my bulk and I weighed in at 197 the other day. I've never broken 200 before. Once I hit a solid 205 the summer cutting begins! I probably won't do another bulk until the end of summer.
I've been doing a lot of heavy weight compound exercises. I really think I need a week off but I'll probably wait until my brother leaves after Christmas. Will this cause a plateau if I don't take a week? What effects does keeping your CNS taxed have on the body?
