You're tired and drained no matter how much sleep you get, and you're all achey and cranky. Your strength will really drop, probably get headaches and have problems sleeping. It's pretty harsh, you'll know when you're burnt out.

You just described how I felt this last week. Every symptom dead on. It's been so hard to get out of bed and make it through work. My strength dropped for no reason but I figured it was the lower calorie intake and a shoulder tweak. It's been really depressing.
yeah time to take a week off, i generally take a week between bulk <-> cut off
Just a question, how you guys do when you meet a weight lifting limits? I have been doing a 4 weeks rotation, 1st week 70% of max weight increase to 90% at 4th week. Then drop to 75% again for another rotation, and make sure the overall weight of next rotation is higher than previous one.
I can feel some improvement for first 2-3 rotation. But after that it seems I reach the limit. Probably 2500 cal intake a day just not enough, but I don't want to get too big like meat or richardd
The other problem is right now when I eat too much, my stomach will feel very uncomfortable
eat more, you're not going to accidentally get too muscular too quickly, the human body can't put on muscle that fast
Bump it up to 3000 calories but split it into more meals. I'm like you, I don't want to put on much weight but I want to get stronger. I'm aiming for about 2900c/day and that has me gaining about 1lb a week (I'd say 85-90% of that is fat). I started aiming for 3500c/day and was putting on way too much fat to quickly. I cut back and now I'm realizing pretty steady lifting gains without getting too chunky too quickly. When I do start to lose the weight I'll be sitting around 143, I'm at 150 right now.
It's really not that hard to increase your caloric intake: Just add more fat! Nuts, oils, butters...avocados...nut butters...nut oils... cheese...ICE CREAM! :D
my secret weapon is hummus and oatmeal lol. im an oats fiend lately. blueberries are cheap as hell now, and mixed with some maple brown sugar, and its on baby. im not much of a sweets kind of guy lol, so ice cream doesnt really appeal to me. but ill eat the hell out of a steak any time of day
10 baby! 5 yolks though lol. i cant stomach 10 yolksotherwise i would
For reals player?
I thought I should be worried about all that cholestoral and shit. I can put down 12 easy...hmmmmm what does your breakfast consist of?
I usually have 3 eggs, 2 egg whites, 3 turkey sausage links, 2 bananas, and sometimes a bagel. Either milk/chocolate milk/water to drink
well, when i wake up, the 1st thing i eat is a hefty spoonful of peanut butter drenched in extra virgin olive oil and my shake with about 50 grams to replenish my nutrition from the sleep we get. after about 1-2 hours max (since i mix the shakes with water, it absorbs fast) i eat my eggs. i've eaten 10 eggs with 5 yolks for a good couple months now, and my blood/cholesterol is perfectly fine. if i wasnt living an active lifestyle, i dont know how bad it would be though lol.
back when i was cutting, i would skip all that and go walk for about 45 min lol.
Egg yolks are fine. There is no credible evidence that they negatively impact cholesterol levels, and some studies that suggest they improve good cholesterol.
edit* This is in normal healthy people. And you might as well not eat eggs if you aren't eating the yolk, since the vast majority of the nutritional value in the egg is in the yolk.
Zoolander, check yo PMs son
I hate being 5"6 lol. All the work I put in the gym and still even matching taller/bigger ppl who never set a foot in the gym :/
i did these today, and i didnt feel anything until after my 30th rep or so. idk if its because im too tall, or what, but it felt like that machine was made for ppl under 6 feet, and me being 6'2 didnt make it THAT bad. the ones at LA Fitness are different though. they have the weights in the back where your head/shoulders are and it can only fit up to like 5-6 10's. i wonder if there is any mcguiver way i can add more weight w/o fucking up the bench
you're going to need more weight than 50lbs to feel it
