I have worked out since last Thursday because of being sick. Lost 10 lbs at least and doubt I will work out again until after NYE
I hate this shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit
I got a shakeweight as a joke gift for Christmas >_>
Suprisingly it does make you feel the burn (though obviously it's not gonna get anyone ripped, but I imagine it helps a bit)
I was kinda forced to walk over 10 miles to my house in boots because I was abandoned in buttfuck egypt (long story) and while it was a good workout now I have a gigantic peeling blister on my foot the size of a post-it note and as thick as leather. (I have flat feet)
Has anyone tried close grip bench with the E-Z bar? I've been working out with my 2 brothers so we can hand the weight off to each other when it's heavy. We used the E-z bar yesterday and they felt great. The inside curves keep your elbows tucked and keeps the focus on your tri's. They are sore today but it feels great. I really needed that last week off. All my lifts went up around 20% and my intensity is up alot.
last workout before I end my bulk today, been just over 3 months. I'm really excited to start dieting and trim down again, I think I gained around 3-5 lbs of muscle. Somehow I missed Monday and Wednesday due to snow/car trouble so I kinda feel like I wasted this last week but eh, I'll still probably be able to see some recomp gains when I switch my workout to a cutting routine next week.
And I still am going to come up short in the Haagen Dazs Challenge. 26 out of 34 flavors, I will write up my favorites after the weekend I guess. I'm going to miss cheeseburgers & ice cream although I don't think it'll take longer than 2 months to trim back down to pre-bulk sexyness
btw anyone know a good 4 day split that has 2 days of squatting?
that's gonna be tough don't u think, with cardio you'll have jelly legs 4-5 days out of the week.
yea probably, but ill most likely try to keep my squat around 90% what it is now instead of trying to constantly increase it. I don't think it'd be too bad as long as you werent trying to squat Monday AND tuesday or loading the days between squatting with lots of other leg work
Not sure if anyone is interested but I just got 50 lbs of the whey protein I order for 198 bucks, shipped to my house. Not sure how good of a price that is compared to what you guys get. If you want any info on it, hit me up in PM. Do not know how long this offer lasts.
50lbs for 198 is an amazing deal. I'm currently paying $90 for 5lbs, but this stuff is absolutely amazing. If I do not eat/drink it after a workout (or use another brand) I feel really sore for the next 2-3 days.
Also, how can you tell if your muscles have fully adapted to a routine and its time to change it up? I've been doing the same leg routine since Nov. 30th and I think its about time to switch. But I'm not sure where to go with it.
Currently it's:
Box Jumps (I'm trying to develop some fast twitch muscles in my legs)
Squats
Leg press
Stiff legged deadlifts
Step ups
Core exercises
What does a 50 lb bag of protein even look like? I buy a 10 lb bag of ON whey for $80 and it looks like a bag of dog food.
Lmfao @ dog food, yea 10 lbs of whey is a HUGE bag, a 50 lb tub would be like 5 times the size of those HUGE pretzel barrels
Apparently they come in 2 bags of 25 lbs
Hooooray
