Here's an article written about how taller people (6'2" and up) have more problems training and things to worry about in the gym due to torso and limb size/length.

2148 calories, puts me 48 over, but don't feel like reweighing chicken and/or peanutbutter. That'll be my food for tomorrow (today depending on timezone)
Not sure what you are trying to say. I can do up to around 90kg with regular, before I start to loose the bar. Cross or mixed I did 100kg without any troubles. I always do regular on warm-up sets to help increasing my grip strength but without mixed grip, my grip strength would be the limiting factor on my deadlifts.
To clarify, this is what I mean by regular
and this is mixed/cross

Good for that dude. He's just got a stronger grip that's all. If he wanted to, he could switch grips and lift even more then.
Alright so after a few months of being a lazy good for nothing panzy ass girl (did not work out), i seem to be back to my regular routine and a little stronger (surprisingly) than i was before.
I am bringing this up in hope for some information on supplement that you guys have used and seen results with. The kind that help build muscle and will keep the muscle once i have stopped taking said supplements. I have used creatine and it seemed to have worked pretty well and would go back to if there is nothing better. But i would like to keep my kidneys for a while longer. A friend of mine is saying to use X-Rated crystallized amino tablets but it seems a bit sketchy to me as i cannot find any information on it. I have done a bit of research but even though i know whats out there i do not know how it will affect me until i have tried them.
I am a 6' 4", medium build, good condition, very healthy individual. My body is lean and has a hard time building muscle despite my eating habits to help enable growth. I just switched to 5x5 workouts with little cardio and will be doing that for the next 6 weeks.
So what has worked for some of you guys and would recommend?
I will not be on for much of the day so i will not be able to reply until tomorrow.
I don't do much in the supplement route other than the typical protein stuff, but most of it has simply coming down to eating more and more and more until you get results.

So yeah, I’d probably recommend reexamining your diet first and foremost. It might even be worth trying to drink more of your calories if you feel like you’re already doing the most you can. Pretty easy to get to a 1.5k-2k calorie shake with a few scoops of protein, 3-6 cups of milk, peanut butter, etc, and split the serving up between 3 meals.
Related note!
Randomly weighed myself at work today and came in at 200lbs flat.Though, was also right after a decent breakfast and with clothes/shoes and such on... but, still liked seeing that number!
This would be up from ~190 peak at last year's bulk, and ~170-175ish when I started this bulk around 6 months ago.
Monday I hit failure at 4 and a half reps on my first set of dumbbell bench press @ 95 lbs.
Today I got 3 sets for 5 reps, and the other two I failed at 4 reps each, so I did a bonus set to make up for the 2 reps, which I failed at 2 reps, but got them at least (was gonna try to do a few more)
Easily the coolest health and fitness game I've seen. Mixes running with zombies. You run IRL, and the further you run, the more items you collect to repopulate your village. You also get to run from zombies.

How much protein do you guys consume? 1 gm per pound? I get around 08. - 0.9 grams @ 140 lbs. So far it's been working out for me and it makes a hellaluv of a difference in terms of how much food I have to eat.
The reason why I asked for a number is to get a visual since I already know your height lol.
reading that food stuff is so discouraging. My metabolism is insane so I know I'll hit a wall soon. I'm seeing some definition/build from my workout but my body weight is still pretty much the same (115-120) I hover between that all the time. I typically eat whenever I'm hungry and I fill myself up but I'm sure I needa eat more still. Blaghghalgh
I get in around 40-130g through shakes, and another ~60-100g or so through food... depending on the day, when my last workout was, and the food available.
This being at about ~195ish, so yeah, hovering close to the 1g/1lb. Though, to be honest, that's more coincidental than something I specifically aim for.
I'm getting close to 230g of protein a day, which is around 1.3g/lb right now. About 200g of carbs and around 75g of fats for ~2400 calories a day. And I'm cutting about 1.5lb/week.
In two weeks I'll drop the carbs by 75g and up the fats by about 30g; 230g protein, 125g carbs, 105g fats.
good lord, those are some crazy macros lol
my money is a bit tight, but right now, im getting in about 150g-200 of protein a day lol. i hope im not lagging by too much!
i need the fuckton of protein right now; if I don't I feel absolutely wrecked. t/th/sat I'm doing an AM powerlift session (super heavy squat/bench/deads) and afternoons I do sport specific training/conditioning. M/W/F is HIIT cardio in the morning. Oh, and 2 hours of karate every night Monday - Saturday. Found out two weeks ago that the Pan American Championships in May are the qualifiers for the World Games in July. #beastmode time
Long time no post ect.
Joined crossfit at the start of December and been doing that shit since. Fun stuff.
Lost 15lb and deadlifted 275 but could easily go higher as I wasn't at my max. Prolly just a bit over 300. 2nd time doing deadlifts but first time doing them right which let me add weight.

My scapula/arm flexibility is complete ass. When doing low bar squats it fells like i am going to snap some shit up in my scapula/wrists.
