Alright
Go to the emergency room. They can't refuse to treat you
but they can give you a huge bill.
glad I waited it out though lol Shit was terrible day of and day after, but I'm at about 80%, could go jogging now if I wanted to (where as I could barely walk/had to hop earlier) and was able to do squats yesterday. Looks like I'll be fine.
Nah, they won't bill you for jack shit in county clinics/hospitals. They have programs for poorass peeps like you. Now if you waltz in to the Kaiser on Sunset and demand first world medical attention w/o insurance, they'll haul your ass out in a wheelbarrow.

Chilling around 260ish around 6'2 trying to get down 220 or 200. Two years ago trained for Warrior Dash gave myself two days of fun food the rest of week (oatmeal / multi-grain cheerios), lunch (fruit / 5-8oz meat, with rice), dinner meat (if i didn't get meat at lunch took it down during dinner)some rice /salad.
Physical activity(going to sound bad) was wii fit 30 minutes and 1.5 mile jogging and/or walking with my dogs 4/5 out 7 seven days. Never really got into lifting, enjoyed the cardio half and felt good after running a few days and seeing results. Oddly enough got to about 220ish before i begin to plateau, once I completed the Warrior Dash and went to Greece. Stopped working out all together went back up but not to 260ish then got lazy about food and hopped back up to 260.
As crazy as it sounds main goal is 220 / 200 but big goal train up for ninja warrior got a navy base with a few obstacles from the TV show try those out every now and then with success only thing I can't even touch is salmon ladder for obvious reasons. So figure try to get some beginner advice where to begin from the experts on here. About 5 pages back read about myfitnesspal just downloaded that. Anyway just trying to get some sound advice on getting started.
Any advice for an arm routine for a beginner? I have a ton of strength from my job, but very little muscle to show for it.
(Weighted if can) dips, throw in one of many various tricep workouts (cable tricep exercises, skull crushers, etc.); diff variations of curls.
8-10 rep range, 4-5 sets each;
2 triceps at 4-5 sets, 2 biceps at 4-5 sets. I'd stick with the dips for every arm workout, then switch up the secondary
Dips and pullups/chinups. If you have access to gymnastics rings, do them on those. Forearms can benefit from reverse barbell curls and farmers walks, but they should be getting hit fairly hard from deadlifts and dips/pullups.
The best assistance exercise for triceps is lying triceps extension, by far. I've hit a wall with my bench press and so have started adding these along with my bench press substitute for a few weeks to push past. Your tris feel like they're going to explode. 3 sets of 10-15 with these, as heavy as you dare.
Great ill try those. Gives me a place to start from. Thank you both!
Welp:
Decided to take a week off lifting weights, martial arts, and yoga. With the exception of like 1 day (went out to eat because I was too lazy to cook), just made sure the diet was mostly solid, upped the protein intake a bit. Down 3 pounds from last week (yes I know, some of it probably being water weight).
Mentally I feel a heck of a lot better too.
Any deadlift pros care to help me out here? Or just come see how good I look.
Pretty sure my neck shouldn't look like that.
I'm unclear about my back rounding. I've read all sorts of stuff: some is good, but too much is bad. Any rounding is bad. Upper back rounding OK, lower back not OK.
Should I sit farther back before lifting? Would this assist back rounding issues?
Last warmup set - 265 x 2
Spoiler: show
Work set - 315 x 5
Spoiler: show
Late, but an arms day without 21's is a sad day
@chrius, just becareful when coming down, it should be the reason coz alittle out of form. it is more clearer when higher weight, back is out of form
Should I do anything different going up? Just fix returning weight to floor?

I was going to do 8/1-4/ instead of 8/1-3/, but Sunday's workout was both the most unique workout and one of the best I've had in ages, so I'm going to do an individual write up for that day specifically
