Raw egg in shake > oatmeal.
i'd have an easier time swallowing a peter north load than a raw egg, at least my cum cocktail wont give me salmonella
lol, one raw egg in your shake isn't gonna give you salmonella unless you have a weak ass immune system.
Makes that shit really frothy, turns it into a milkshake.
the egg whites you get in a carton are pasteurized btw, so you can drink those raw
i've been buying omega 3 eggs so i just eat the whole thing
I think I read somewhere you get more protein from eggs if you cook 'em instead of eating them raw.
cooking em helps with better absorption
too many raw eggs can limit biotin absorption as well, symptoms of biotin deficiency include:
1. Dry skin
2. Seborrheic dermatitis
3. Fungal infections
4. Rashes including red, patchy ones near the mouth (erythematous periorofacial macular rash)
5. Fine and brittle hair
6. Hair loss or total baldness (alopecia)
Edit: late rant about my diabetes etc lol, idk why i posted that.
But to Residue...I was doing Chest today and decided to throw in the HS press at my gym. I actually was pretty surprised, what you described was dead on for me too. I almost never feel obvious fatigue in my chest after benching, but with that I definitely did. Felt nice to actually feel it there, was a good workout today. Think I will definitely do that for the next couple months. Added bonus of not needing a spotter, which I never have atm.
Just curious if anyone knows some really good core exercises and also some shoulder workouts that give strength/endurance. I have a gym at my disposal but no idea what to do in it. Only thing I do is rock climb but it's gotten to the point where I need my core for working roofs and overhanging problems.
For strength & endurance don't you just up the amount of reps you do?
Military Press
BB Shrug
DB Shrug
DB Rows
Cable Front/Lateral Raises
clean and presses
Here are 3 simple core exercises that you can do in your own home and won't take more than 10 minutes to do.
1) Raises: Lay on your back and bring both legs up perpindicular to the floor. Do not lift your head or use your hands to hold your legs up. Try to keep your legs perfectly straight up for 25 seconds. Repeat this as many times as you like.
2) similar to the last one, but when your legs are up in the air, spread them apart as if trying to do the splits. keep your toes pointing straight. Slowly bring your legs back together. Make sure your legs are pointed straight up. Do this 25 times.
3) Similar to 1) but this time lower one leg so that it is just floating above the ground. Bring that leg back up towards the other one. Do this 25 times then switch which leg you are bringing down.
I've been doing these for a week and a half and I've noticed huge core improvements. I usually do the set of 3 before each meal of the day.
One giant fucking bag of protein was on sale last night and just as I brought up this thread it'd expired, but it looks like it's back on with Amazon now.

Also, for anyone who kept up with Consumer Report's report on popular proteins containing heavy metals, ON put out a statement recently: http://www.optimumnutrition.com/news.php?article=874
edit: more! To elaborate on the CR protein report, here's what they put out:

Most seem insignificant, but it's worth reading and seeing some of the higher, bolded contents.
Also a deal on Dymatize Elite (not gourmet) @Fitrx similar to the twinpack deal that comes up with ON. 2x5lb for $60, free shipping. Savings of $10/$5 over bb.com depending on whether you buy 2x5lb or 10lb.

I only order the 10lb bags now, the only downside is the little scoop is ALWAYS at the very fucking bottom lol
lol yah, i make sure i order with 1\3 left on the previous bag so i still use the scoop. also there's great potential for mix and matching flavors.
btw i'm sure this isnt new or revolutionary. but omg chicken and spicy brown(much like myself) mustard go so well together
do you get all hard and crusty when you leave the cap open too?
also I love deli mustard. Especially on a big freshly sliced open face warm corned beef sandwich, with a knish on the side (or a big piece of stuffed derma/kishke, the red kind that uses schmaltz). I've been craving kosher salami too, which goes great with brown mustard, but I hear people eat it with eggs a lot as well.
mmm, jewfood
If jewfood involves spicy/deli mustard I'm all for it. I put that shit on every sandwich I make. That and honey mustard. :<
