    yeah that isn't creatine, it's an NO supplement. While they do work in different ways, creatine has more of a proven effect in terms of size/strength. You should definitely find some cheap creatine monohydrate and add that to your supplement stack, it's cheap and has almost no side effects.

    Almond meal pancakes are delicious. Should try it mixed with shredded coconut flakes. Add an egg or two...or three... and then mmmm. Makes me want to make some now too.

    I would make them with those cinnamon almonds from trader joes, chopped up a little and used as a garnish/topping. With vanilla extract (or vanilla whey!) in the dough...

    Res what is your pancake recipe? I smell a project coming on (no it isn't red velvet pancakes)

    it's a pretty simple pancake batter

    cup chickpea flour
    cup of warm water
    salt and pepper
    1 or 2 tablespoons of evoo
    chopped scallions
    maybe some zucchini

    pancake away.

    according to the internet it's called Socca there's quite a bit of variation when it comes to making it.

    pancakes or pumpkin, if i dont have one of those every 2 weeks i'll go nuts and binge on anything i can get my hands on. needless to say when i'm bulking(in the fall\winter) and pumpkin products are readily available. i'm in heaven.

    dammit, now I want pumpkin cheesecake

    also my 2 weeknesses are definitely cheeseburgers and chocolate. Chocolate is an every day thing for me (75-100 calories worth), cheeseburgers once every 2 weeks.

    This is a sin. Pancakes should be had for dinner once every few months. Not saying you should go to Ihop and have those cheescake pancakes (gross!) but normal ones aren't that terrible. Then blueberry/strawberry syrup.. Good lord. Fuck all of you for making me want pancakes right now.

    I bought a pair of size 36 jeans the other day that I have room in. So much so my belt didn't fit at all I had to go buy a new one for just these pants. Good and bad, cause that shit is gonna happen a lot in the near future. If I lose the last 15-20 lbs I want, I might be a freaking 34. The last time I was a 34 was when I was like 15. (29 now) How the fuck do I lose the rest of this god forsaken belly though? It doesn't want to go!

    Edit: Also might gain 10 lbs today seeing as it's the 4th. I eat some of literally everything, and have beers out the ass. It's the one of a few days a year I toss my diet out the window completely.

    Wow, sick! Seeing your pictures though, you seem so much more beast than me. Though you probably lift a lot more than me. My strength was really low, so I'm building up. I increase weight every 1-2 weeks, depending on the how I feel I can handle it.

    I'm also white, so by default I have terrible genes for getting ripped. I've been doing weights for about 4 months now, and am finally starting to see some results. Honestly, if I lost the last of my gut, I'd be in great shape. I'm 6'3 and 210, so I it "hides" well, with what is left. I'm probably over exagerrating, but everyone usually does with themselves. I'm sure if I cut out ALL the junk, I'd do it, but you know, I love to eat food. I'll just deal with working out a few extra months, hopefully work it out over the winter and be in shape for next summer.

    I'm 29 and in the best shape of my life, so next year should I keep it up (which I plan to) will be even better.

    Ultimately, in the end, it's not your weight that counts. Better measure of fat loss would be taking measurements at the least. But congrats and keep at it Ode Being able to buy clothes in smaller sizes is always good! (though expensive for an overhaul of your closet.) All you can do is keep working out and eating right (for the most part), and then it'll lose from where it wants to lose.

    I gained around 5 lbs over the school year but I'm actually heavier now (118 instead of 114) but roughly the same fat %, or even less. Good sign? I hope so! But now I'm worried because I hope I didn't lose even a little bit of fat that would have thrown my body off equilibrium and stop my period. Usually only girls with really low body fat % get that, but everyone's body is different and their "sweet spot" is different. Again, I repeat, I hate being a girl. Why can't I just work out/build muscle/get to a low body fat % without having to worry about all the hormonal repercussions?

    I know no one wants to hear about girl periods in fitness threads...but my long-winded point is everyone's body is different. You may not get to X lbs because your body functions better with a certain body fat %. I read an article not too recently (3-6 months ago now) about how some people actually are able to perform at their "best" level with higher body fat % for, say, running. Something about fat oxidization. Obviously I'm not saying everyone should not care, eat junk, and get fat... Just saying don't forget everyone has a different sweet spot. So don't beat yourself up immediately if you can't shed those last few pounds or bit of fat.
