Weird Thing

So a rift opened up and my friend decided to go exploring while I was leveling on my Glad. He told me he found a few bots in Black Plains and proceeded to kill em. After killing a few bots, he got attacked by Olovekiss a Asmo Sorc. He went back through the rift and I logged into my main to help out. When we just stand there, not attacking the bots, Olovekiss would leave us alone and help the bots kill things. But when we attacked the bots, the Sorc would attack us. After coming back a few times we noticed that Olovekiss was protecting the other bots from being randomly ganked.

It's the first time I've noticed this and I haven't heard anything about it. So just tossing this up here. xP

the bots are computer controlled and being monitored by the guy playing the sorc?

And probably, I never seen it happen before so I was kind of surprised.

some bots are monitored by a live-rmt, and I've heard some players actually get kinah for protecting rmt/bots. Also wouldn't be surprised to hear that there is now a program in w/a bot can determine if they being atk'd by a PC or npc and act accordingly
