sadly those bots paid for themselves in a month or two lol.
I was in a LS with Maury, I know the problem we had when beta testing it (Hello absolution LS!).
There are 2-3 bots out there what only need 1 person to be using it to get claim 95% of the time compared to NASA needing 7+
Hell got a screenshot of a 360 using DRG out claiming 3 of us using NASA on Beh (NQ day was testing it out)
Yeah. If we didn't have at least 10 people on NASA, chances of getting claim were slim to none.
Another problem is all people on NASA used same server to connect so program would work. Now if a person got the IP of the server, pinged it to death (It did not have a good bandwidth) no one be using NASA. Whilst other bots what have a user and password programmed into the program and are hardware locked. Would still be working as they do not need an outside server to login to use the software.
Thing with nasa was that it was a safe bot tho?
It also scared lots of LS's away when they found out a LS had nasa, that was in itself what screwed over a lot of servers. Not so much this bot that could claim, but when 10 people could log in and be the only ones there. LS's giving up was what killed kings TBH.(this could of been a good thing tho who knows)
One person could screw NASA up also, so everyone had to be set at the right settings ect. We had problems with this because some of our users used JP Langauge and shit on there computer.
Except that was very likely a bullshit cover story for Maury not wanting to continue to support it. Don't you think it was a bit of a coincidence that SE, after five years of completely ignoring App, decided to pursue legal action and have the site closed down on the day of Aion's release? It certainly helps his image to have people think he went down in a blaze of heroic glory rather than admitting he simply couldn't be bothered any more and wanted to play Aion. Nothing will come of all this I'm sure, maybe if we stop discussing it the RMT kiddy crew will get bored and quit waving their dicks around.
I have to admit, the whole concept that anyone would think that a seller could be prosecuted under any sort of law upon SE banning or reclaiming an account is pretty lol worthy.
Those of you yelling "zomg fraud lolol" should really understand the legal system and the utter lack of legal precedents in a situation like this. The law has yet to catch up with technology, especially in a situation like this. You're out of your mind if you think a judge would do anything but throw a case like that to the curb.
I've still yet to see actual proof. Anything you've posted thus far could be done by anyone. Quit the retardation, please.
Really dude? pinging?

google this shit before you say it, really.
Its a old way of doing something what has not changed since networking was made, there are other ways to do it but it still is effective, hell 3-4 months ago eGS got taken down for a month because of some one setting up a script in an e-mail what got something like 9 million IPs to ping it. (eGS gets attacked allot btw 3 times this year so far)
DDoSing isn't pinging lol
