With an Ebisu rod and a raised chocobo that was able to win C1 races anyway, boy howdy is this the update for me.

Agreed, maybe not much for the end game community but for guys like me who really enjoy the mini games and side quests, this update has been nothing but fucking gold.

Entire new synthing system for me to master, whoot!

Evolith system that has great potential as long as SE doesnt do the "you can only hunt one nm per day" or the NMs are lottery spawns or some shit like that. Potentail awesomeness!

More fish for Zaldon quest, which may give entire equip- WHAT?! Omg please tell me matsya (the ultimate of all fish for nonfishers) gives us something amazing! Please please please make this fish worthwhile!

And... And... I CAN WEAR CHOCOCIRCUIT DUDS! HELL YEAH! THANK YOU SE!!!

And whats this? The update notes seems to deem them not just generic lv 1 gear with no stats, they have some form of enhancements too them. Im gonna assume it's goign to be along the lines of Full set: Movement speed+, or chocobo speed, or digging strength, something like that.

Have you completed 100% of the end-game content FFXI currently have to offer? This game isn't just about end-game, that's the mistake every other MMO makes, only cater to it's 'gimme gimme' bunch, not so much the people who are GETTING there or enjoy the smaller things FFXI have to offer.

You're half right, although fishes is indeed a correct plural in this context because they are talking about multiple species.

Ex: My beta tank is full of fishes= wrong

Its pretty sad when this is the best thing to come out of all the update notes so far.

It's also good to have your own callable chocobo if you live in ToAU exp zones and NA/EU are too lazy/waiting for the JP to rescue the choco lady (who normally won't since they caught on lol).

And why the hell not have a Black/Blue/Green/Red Chocobo plaques..1 more storage never hurts unless you're capped..and they look kinda cool.

- SMN ability / update (who knows maybe more coming)
- New Evolith Aug system, new gear/weapons and NM system
- New synergy crafting system
- New addon with associated gear, quests, mobs etc
- RNG update
- New wedding system
- New WOTG Quests
- New MMM stuffs

And im pretty sure there's more i've forgotten.

Guessing she means the fact they're more than likely moving the Dragons away from the immediate warp in point, and the usual bug fixes they throw in with updates (like how the tags will stay on despite you not in campaign) etc.

Though I'm not that big on Campaign these days, so not sure if I missed a note on that.
