I go with what I'm eating. If it's pancakes and bacon, my bacon is swimmin in some syrup. Eggs and bacon? Pig is chillin with some ketchup.

Try ketchup with mashed potatos and you'll never eat them normal again. Just a little bit. Mix it up so they turn whiteish red. It adds the perfect amount of spice.

Good on eggs too. Tabasco or salsa is better though.

I mix ketchup and hot sauce together for most breakfast foods where ketchup is applicable (bacon, sassage, hash browns, eggs, etc)

However, ketchup with mashed taters sounds fucking weird.
