I can't decide whether I'm amused or annoyed by the fact that Bungie touted buying ODST as the way to get beta access to this and then goes and opens it earlier than that for a bunch of PR.

Armourlock + flag defence = lol. I was expecting active camo to be rather shitty but after playing with it a bit it's pretty damn fun. Even with the radar giving away you're nearby it still catches a ton of people off guard. Seems to be a lot of issues with you and the person you're fighting against dying at the same time though, in Halo 2 and 3 it happened a ton when you both meleed eachother, but I find it happening all the damn time in this even during gunfights. Also wish the pistol held a few more shots, keep dropping shields on the very last bullet then getting stomped before I can reload. Hit detection seems a bit wonky on the headshots, but I'm crazy out of practice too so we'll see how it is when I improve a bit again.

DMR and Focus Rifle fucking rock lol. Not sure how I feel about the pistol yet. I didn't think I'd like Armor Lock but it's turning out to be a lot better than I expected.

Needle Rifle is way better than DMR so far imo, less recoil and it explodes.

Here's what I think so far:

- Like many others have said, I wish the pistol had just one or two more bullets.
- The DMR is surprisingly fun, takes alot more skill to use than the BR imo.
- Focus rifle is annoying as hell.
- Wish there was more variety with the load outs, although I'm sure that'll change when they add new game types.
- I love how fluid the game feels, I especially love all the death animations.
- The armor abilities feel mostly balanced and they all have their place.
- Covey slayer is fun times.

I'll think of more stuff later, only played 20 games or so.

Yeah. Can't wait for the new game types released later on as well. Focus Rifle is agitating when you're cut off from view of the enemy, but when they're in the open, goddamn it's so satisfying.

i only got my confirmation email when the email i listed matched the live ID i was logged in with. doesn't matter though they only had a limited number of keys anyway and they went fast.
