how do i play the actual game? i downloaded the beta thing but all i get is that black chic yapping.

i have ODST and xbox live gold but don't see where to even go to put in a code.

I was a hardcore bumper jumper user in Halo 3 but I just can't get used to it in this, using X as your armor ability just doesn't feel right. I wish there was a setting between bumper jumper and default, where the bumpers were used for jump and armor ability.

Also, I tried a bit of free for all today and really like slayer pro. Why it isn't in grab bag is beyond me, same with team head hunter.

I just got Halo ODST today, already have Halo 3, honestly I cannot tell the difference from the two in multiplayer.

Not counting the ODST Reach Beta, which isn't available yet, or firefight, isn't ODST multiplayer just halo 3 multiplayer? They just gave people another way to play it without actually having halo 3.

There isn't a difference. That is why the full title is Halo 3: ODST. IIRC ODST was originally planned to be an expansion but was changed later to be a full retail game. Really its a rip off to me since all you get is a short campaign and Firefight mode, but now with 3 weeks of Reach included it makes it a little more worth it.

If you play the multiplayer disk, it should be totally different from Halo 3.
