It's not that amazing fyi. It's alright, but if I play this game as much as I played H2 then I'd probably turn into a serial killer.

I still consider Halo 2 to be the best FPS ever. That might have a lot to do with me being home schooled the year it came out and playing it probably 50 hours a week.

Halo 2 holds a special place in my eyes, really high nostalgic value right there.

Reach is fun but as far as the few free days there are a LOT of retards who got in. I swear at least one person goes afk in half of all the games i play, its ridiculous. I personally can't wait for tomorrow so that we get a much larger pool of players to pick from for game match ups.

There are a few glaring goal placement issues on several of the game modes that i noticed as well. Prolly will make a post on the feedback forums later this week.

Not counting the ODST Reach Beta, which isn't available yet, or firefight, isn't ODST multiplayer just halo 3 multiplayer? They just gave people another way to play it without actually having halo 3.

Halo 3s multi was included on a seperate disc packaged with ODST. The nice thing about it is you have all the map packs on one disk.

Halo 2 was pretty much the pinnacle of the franchise, i played the multiplayer over a space of 4 years and never got bored. I still remember when anything above rank 16 was considered amazing before the noob friendly update.

I've had a lot of fun with it so far, even though I'm more of MW2 guy (less 13 year olds? Maybe. Fucking kids). Liking a couple of the new weapons, armor abilities and the related. It's really got a different feel from what I was used to on Halo 3. But I sure hate the damned default controls, lol.

I remember getting standbyed constantly at Lv11 lol.
And I remember when there wasn't a Team Slayer playlist.
A lot of people on my friendlist bought 360's on release, and basically just played H2 untill H3 came out. Then everyone started to stop playing H3 weeks after launch. I just want the H2 days back, and I know that they won't since Reach will never live up to that.

i can't do call of duty too much. too much spawning moving 5 feet and getting killed instantly. Shit gets old really quick. I like the gameplay of the Halo series way more mainly due to the fact that i don't get killed by some guy because he saw the tip of my boot from half a map away. Halo you actually have to move around the map as opposed to camping being the main strategy (although shotgun + cloak is a very potent combination).

overall, fuck call of duty, long live halo even with the kids attached.

We won so many games with that trick. And I can't think of the map name but the city map with the building under construction I always loved to grab the banshee straight away and grab both snipers and go to the top.

One thing I think they need to do is make it so if you don't vote on the map/game type your vote just doesn't show up, instead of defaulting them all to the first choice. I only say this because the two most unbalanced game types at the moment (stockpile and 1 flag) are ALWAYS the first choice and 50% of the time people don't vote. Either do that or make the first game type always be slayer.

Also, Friday can't come soon enough. I hope all the diverse load outs seen in the videos of invasion are actually real and not just for the press demos.

We won so many games with that trick. And I can't think of the map name but the city map with the building under construction I always loved to grab the banshee straight away and grab both snipers and go to the top.

Headlong.. one of the most fun MP maps in any game ever IMO :D
