Anyone bothered with the Flawless Cowboy commendation in single player? 5 Heroic/Legendary stage clears without dying for Iron, wondering how many credits it gives and if it's worth doing or not. Here's hoping the weekly challenge update in a few hours gives 10k+ credits... I want to believe.

I'm done with Reach for the night, but was thinking about that commendation for a while. Is it solo-specific or can it be done multiplayer and obtained by just letting your friends do all the work? Also...anyone else hate Spire like I do? I don't know whether it's my lack of experience on that map or what but I simply can't get a feel for it. I never do as well as I would on other maps.

I would think it'd work fine in multiplayer. I got 1/5 just dicking about doing some of the daily challenges yesterday (100 precision weapon kills and 50 assault weapon kills or something) in singleplayer though, some of the first few levels are really easy on Heroic. Maybe I'll get iron today and see if it gives a decent amount of credits. Getting Onyx rank on it would take a retarded amount of time if the requirement jumps as much as the other types though. Probably hard to tell exactly how much it gives though since it'll trigger at the end of the mission, so might not be able to check at the bottom left exactly how many it gives.

Can't say I really have any problems on spire, but I don't like the map at all. I rage my ass off every time I get stuck doing Invasion Slayer on that shit, horrible game type and a horrible map (for slayer at least). Only fun gametype on it is the standard Invasion imo, but the final objective on offence is a total joke to win.

Just found a decently fast way to get credits. Start Tip of the Spear at Bravo point and just hop in a falcon, rape everything then revert to last save. I hopped in the left gunner and with decent multikills it's very easy to make over 2k credits in 10 minutes. Ontop of commendations it seems like a damn fast way of doing it. Not sure if there's anything better (haven't even tried the right gunner either, might be even faster) but this will do for now.

Missed this, Im 3/5 on the Flawless Cowboy Commendation, I was going to try to at least get Iron on it to see how many credits it gives.

Made a bit under 2k in 10 minutes that time. I did get 2 commendations for a total of 3k though. Heavy Weapon kills and Multikills.
Edit: First time I counted I got a Killionaire, that probably added a decent amount of credits, lol.

Does difficulty matter at all? That sounds like an awesome rate compared to 700-1100 per 15 minute game.

I tried it on normal and there werent a whole lot of enemies I was getting crap for credits
