I was doing it on Normal, I don't think difficulty effects credits. Also used Cowbell skull but I don't think that would help either so doesn't really matter. I tried right side after I posted and I think left was a bit faster personally, but it might just be because I was used to it. What I did was just pass over the bridge, shoot at the enemies on the floor then immediately turn around and kill the enemies on the bridge, that way it gets you a huge multikill (got a killionaire at one point when I nailed all the ground enemies), then take out the next set of enemies and revert straight after. Each run takes a minute at most. The credits rack up pretty quickly from the multikills. Also gives points towards a lot of commendations. Heavy Weapons, Multikills, Infantry Kills, Leader Kills, etc. I hit gold rank for the heavy weapon commendation and that gave another 2k credits.

Edit: After trying a ton of random different ways, both my own hunches and other people saying BEST WAY TO FARM CREDITS. Gruntpocalypse in Score Attack matchmaking seems like the fastest. You get over 1k easily and takes anywhere from 5-8 minutes depending on map/fluff ups.

No idea lol. It's definitely taking a lot longer to hit these levels than it did in the beta. Already know one guy that hit Captain. I can't even fathom how long it'd take to hit Lt. Colonel. Better be some bawler ass orgasmic armor coming up.

Strangely, Captain and onward from what I've seen has lower credit requirements. Captain Grade 1 > 2 is only 23k, Captain Grade 3 > Major is 46k. That Grade 3 is the highest rank I've seen so far.

you gentlemen are rather cruel.

But in regards to Reach the one complaint I have about the new matchmaking system, which is generally amazing, is that it does not allow individuals to join matches mid-game ensuring leavers will permanently imbalance the match. Otherwise the flexibility and customization options are out of sight, gameplay is tighter than ever and the armor abilities are a welcome replacement for the equipment of Halo 3, and it is pretty, so pretty.

People are way too quick to get butthurt though when it comes to booting for betrayal. Threw a grenade at an enemy only to have my teammate run at him and try to melee, says I betrayed and bam I get booted. Fkn sucks, I was doing really well that game.

Yeah the new betray system is dumb, it should take at least take a consistent amount of fuck ups for it to ask to boot. On the bright side, when some dumb cunt teammate kills me for taking X vehicle or weapon in Invasion Slayer the pleasure I get from kicking their sorry ass is great.

Me and my roommate were playing multi team, and we were going on a pretty good winning streak, got to like seven games, I think. We were doing slayer on sword base though, and I had a shotgun, and he had a sword, and I betrayed him when he went to lunge a guy I was shotgunning. Then I used the sword he dropped on the ground as bait to get people to run into the room and just blasted them.

All in all, multi team is glorious.

Yeah, multi-team is probably my favourite playlist right now. It was damn fun in Halo 3 too, but it just feels so much more hectic in this. Armour abilities don't dominate like in standard gametypes too. Still a lot of bubble shields in oddball being thrown down, but it doesn't make it almost impossible to take out the ball carrier like it does in 4v4.

my cousin and I were playing team slayer with some little kid who sucked way worse than even I do, and the sequence of events went like this:

Me: He's up top.
Cousin: ok *guy gets sniped*
Me: Did the rockets re pop?
Kid: I got them!
*Enemy appears, me/cousin engage. Both of us betrayed*
kid: OMG DONT BOOT ME IT WAS AN ACCIDENT IM SO SORRY

I managed to betray two people at once with rockets, was pretty pro. 3 enemies grouped together, so as I fire a shot two dudes randomly fall right on top of them with jetpacks and all 5 of em get blown up, I reveled in those 2 seconds of glory before being taken back to lobby.
