This stuff should go in there.
Seeing as you can't use the gift card on the purchase, it's still $199.
$199 PS3 Slim, brought to you by Microsoft.
Console is nonrefundable, even for store credit if purchased under the sale. If broken it must be dealt with the manufacturer my local wally says.
Some people have been buying a few of them for the GC and are fleabaying them. How much does Gamestop take for a new unopened Arcade unit?
Amazon just had this gold-box deal at 12/3 EST
Don't work for an actual store, more aligned with corporate. I'll give the skinny on why the return -> keep card idea fails. When you buy a shitbox from the store, they tie your purchase to the system via the serial number.
When you go back to return it, register will prompt for retrieval of the gift card. If you can't turn over a full card, the amount will be deducted from your refund. Trying to return without a receipt and/or a different store or to a different retailer will fail for obvious reasons.
Most the time, people at the service desk don't know anything. Every system I've returned had been opened and used for a bit. You could return the thing without a controller and half the time they wouldn't know. I've never known anybody to look in the box.
Hence, all the Wal-Mart stories of having rocks in their box.
You can't trade in anything sealed or unopened to gamestop without a receipt showing you bought it there.
Even if it has a gamestop sticker on it?
you can trade in sealed things with a receipt from anywhere, doesnt have to be gamestop, we just have to know you paid for the item and that it isnt stolen.
yes, even if it has a gamestop sticker, that doesnt really mean anything
